MicroBlade takes our resource-saving vision even further with Supermicro's innovative Disaggregated Server Design that enables the independent upgrades of the compute modules without replacing the rest of the server infrastructure for optimal TCO.

The iXsystems iX Series is a line of enterprise-grade rackmount servers designed to deliver reliable performance, versatility, and scalability for a wide range of workloads. The iX Series includes servers with various configurations, such as the iX-1104A, which features a 1U form factor, a single Intel Xeon E-2300 processor, four DIMM slots with support for up to 128GB of total memory, and dual 1GbE network connectivity. The iX-1104A also provides flexible storage options, including two SATA/SAS/NVMe drive bays and two additional SATA/SAS bays. Additionally, the server is equipped with PCI-E 4.0 slots and an M.2 slot, allowing for expandability and customization based on the needs of the deployment. Overall, the iXsystems iX Series servers are built to offer robust performance and efficiency for modern data centers and IT environments​.
