About
A well-tested and proven component that is embedded on tens of thousands of websites worldwide. Our speed test component is used by millions of end-users every month in our own apps as well as our clients. Our Speedchecker HTML5 technology does not require any browser plug-ins and is, therefore, available across more platforms such as PCs, Macs, Android, iOS. Our technology provides accurate and realistic results thanks to the Websocket standard deployed widely in all modern browsers. Older browsers fall back to HTTP testing. Our Speed test controller in the cloud makes sure that the testing clients connect to the best available servers at any given moment for any location-based on many parameters such as location, device capabilities, server utilization and more. We can provide custom, bespoke designs to meet your design specifications and to fit in with your site or application design.

About
We will measure the speed from our servers to this computer. Results are often less than plan speed due to WiFi conditions and device capabilities. It is important to differentiate between the speed of the Internet connection “to your home” and the speed reached by an individual device “within your home” because they are two very different measurements. Internet speed tests, like this one or the test found at SpeedTest , measure the latest or the speed reached by the device running the test. The results of this test are often less than the speed of your plan due to several factors beyond the control of your Internet provider, including WiFi conditions and device capabilities. Good coverage means that your device is receiving a strong Wi-Fi signal. That strong signal also offers as much speed as your device can handle. The further you move away from your gateway (modem or router), the more the signal strength decreases, slowing download and upload speeds and reducing coverage.
