About

Relaymed seamlessly connects your POC testing devices to your EHR & automatically matches results to orders. Accurate, immediate data entry eliminates dangerous errors, creates time savings for your staff, and costs savings for your practice. The Relaymed ‘engine’ is cloud based. This is where all patient test results and quality controls are transmitted to and stored. Our engine then gets the correct order from your EHR and puts the completed result back in the chart. When you need to view and manage all your data just fire up any internet browser and log into the myRelaymed portal. Your point of care devices can’t connect to the internet themselves. So, we need to give them some help to connect or network them to a computer or server. Relaymed pulls the correct order from your EHR, attaches it to the result coming from the device and pushes it into the EHR. Results arrive in your EHR chart within seconds of test completion.

About

We will measure the speed from our servers to this computer. Results are often less than plan speed due to WiFi conditions and device capabilities. It is important to differentiate between the speed of the Internet connection “to your home” and the speed reached by an individual device “within your home” because they are two very different measurements. Internet speed tests, like this one or the test found at SpeedTest , measure the latest or the speed reached by the device running the test. The results of this test are often less than the speed of your plan due to several factors beyond the control of your Internet provider, including WiFi conditions and device capabilities. Good coverage means that your device is receiving a strong Wi-Fi signal. That strong signal also offers as much speed as your device can handle. The further you move away from your gateway (modem or router), the more the signal strength decreases, slowing download and upload speeds and reducing coverage.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • The experience started off really bad and just kept finding ways to get worse. Initially they consistently mislead us as the the actually features and benefits. Presenting as this stand alone, user friendly, almost self configuring service that would easily integrate the many devices that we have amongst our three clinics. In truth is arrives without a single thing configured, everything.

Cons

  • Over a standard office staff ability, Requires you to learn/know LAN architecture and protocols. they never got it to work, and when pressed claimed it was the clients fault they were waiting on. me to do all my setup/configuration. So I configured everything per their own support/setup guides. FAIL.
