Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros I like that it can make a 3d model of pipes. (But it is just the building drain to a few fixtures - locked connections means you cannot select DWV fittings that comply with county code. You can't add vents, you can't make an entire project. There is no help, no customer service. Cons No help, no service. The software is incomplete - like a high school project. It doesn't work. I spent 2 months - paying in full and never got help from the company. I'm a builder - plumber and used to be a computer consultant for the building industry. This software doesn't work and is a waste of time. It takes weeks to learn it because there's no tool-tips. So you have to experiment with every function, even combining your click on menu order - changes functions, but because it's undocumented, there's no way to know how to use this software. The instructions in help are just 1 sentence descriptions about what it is supposed to be able to do - like a sales brochure. Waited for 8 months for a response from the developer - still nothing. So I purchased $2,400 worth of pipes and fittings to dryfit a 30x30 single story house with 2 bathrooms. Hoped I could use this software, but the cut and material lists were totally inaccurate. Simply put - don't waste your time. It can't deliver what they claim.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Easy to learn the basics. Intuitive, visually appealing interface (duct 4.0). Much much faster than manual estimating. Useful template reports. Easily customizable. I really can't think of any. The product is pricey and does not function well. You're forced to put in 100 characters for Pro's. You don't need that many Cons Resource heavy (especially RAM). Server database (duct 4.0) can be laggy. Dated interface (pipe). Many, we have not won a job of any size since we purchased the product over a year ago. Support tells us we can't adjust labor multipliers on back sheet per material group ie: copper , CPVC, PVC etc. Includes many items not used or needed making #'s noncompetitive.
