Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Love the ease to sign up and create events lots of options for payment processors and easy to link them to your profile site looks good and is fast no lagging in the service Easy interface, free for the user, allows several people different levels of access to what they can do within the system. Easy to promote and can even nest within your webpage. As a new user not knowing anything about this site it was very user friendly easy to set up and navigate. I only got through the setting up part we've only used it for one day so I can't really give much of a review for anything further than the setup project The ease of set up and the step-by-step instructions allowed for an intuitive process of creating an account, creating an event - and publishing the event. I never used any other streaming software so I don’t have anything to contrast the product with - but with how easy this was, I can’t see any reason I would check out their competitors. I Recommend this platform. I've had a great experience using PromoTix for managing event ticketing. The platform is easy to use, making it simple to create events, sell tickets, and keep everything organized. The setup process was straightforward, and the overall experience has been smooth and reliable. I also appreciate their responsive customer support and their commitment to improving the platform. If you're looking for an affordable and user-friendly ticketing solution, I'd definitely recommend giving PromoTix a try. Cons What's not to like? too many good things about the service so far no dislikes Honestly, not many cons, very basic looking, but nothing really wrong with that. As of now I have nothing bad to say like I said it is our first time using it today so I didn't run into any issues yet Aesthetic design choices but that’s highly subjective- it functions great. Always updating and making the UI better and obviously cheaper than other competitors - the main selling point for me. Plus I can connect my Stripe Account! I have used other platforms previously and had trouble assessing my event sales - it was a nightmare. When i rang the TryBooking hotline, i was greeted by a lovely member. We run a mix of free events and paid workshops, it's great to know real people are behind the platform and can offer personalised support when you need. Great customer service. Easy to navigate system. In-built Mailing system for communicating with registrants. Simple custom field creation. CSV export available for reporting. Mobile Scanning App. I used the Learning Centre to set up my event. All my questions were answered. I also called the support team and my call was answered straight away. Really affordable compared to alternatives. Has a great create event wizard that means you can sell tickets straight away. Only had to use support once and they answered the phone immediately and were helpful. Cons There is a lot of features that you don't know what to do with when you first log in. But at least doesn't take too long learn how to use them, but I wish it was easier to find them all in the navigation bar. Takes a while to get used to it, especially ticket pricing. Just found out they have a fundraising feature. They should promote their features more. Overall, I like it. I think there could be additional tools like design templates which would be a plus. Can only link one bank account to a TryBooking account. Nothing, everything worked without a hitch. Would suggest this site for anyone who is computer savvy. Takes a while to locate all the features, UI is not the same throughout the whole system.
