About

Prisma ORM is the type-safe ORM for TypeScript and Node.js, built for humans and AI coding agents. A declarative schema agents can parse, a type-safe client, and migrations with clear guardrails so agents can read your data model, plan queries, and migrate safely inside agent loops (structured errors, inspectable plans, CLI). Use Prisma Client against PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, MongoDB, and more without a traditional ORM maze. On the same platform, Prisma Postgres is managed PostgreSQL (instant setup, built-in pooling) and Prisma Compute hosts TypeScript apps next to that data, so agents and teams get ORM, managed Postgres, and app hosting as one story.

About

VisuaLeaf is a cross-platform database GUI for MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, and Oracle. It helps developers explore and edit data, build queries and MongoDB aggregation pipelines visually, create and reverse-engineer schema diagrams, manage indexes, analyze query performance, and work with an integrated MongoDB shell and SQL editor. VisuaLeaf also includes collection comparison, data synchronization, task automation, data masking, import and export tools, charts, dashboards, user management, and secure SSH and SOCKS5 connections. It is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • I use VisuaLeaf mostly with PostgreSQL. What I like most is that it makes the database easier to explore visually: tables, queries, relationships, and diagrams are all in one place. The interface feels modern, and it’s helpful when I want to understand a schema faster without jumping between tools.

Cons

  • Some parts still feel new and could use more polish. A few workflows may need small improvements, especially compared with very mature tools that have been around for years.
