Design cabinetry of any shape, with sloping sides, tops that slope in more than one direction, fit along walls with unusual angles, or around pipework, plus lots more. Polyboard comes with a powerful geometric engine to not only allow you to design complex projects like this quickly, but most importantly to output 100% accurate cut lists, plans and CNC files based on those designs. Instant rendered 3D project images for your clients are a great sales tool. Because design is so quick, it’s easy to get these out to prospective clients as well, this is far less cost effective with a slow CAD design process. Plus immediate costings to get reliable quotes out at the same time.

About

The SURDEV computer package was developed by the International Institute for Land Reclamation and Improvement (ILRI), Wageningen Environmental Research, and the Institute of Land and Water Management of the Catholic University of Leuven (ILWM), Belgium, in 2001. SURDEV consists of three software programs, BASDEV (for level basins), BORDEV (for sloping borders), and FURDEV (for graded furrows). Surface irrigation relies on gravity to spread water over the farmers’ fields. Following the pull of gravity, the water flows over the fields from one end to the other, infiltration into the soil as it goes. The most common surface irrigation techniques are level basins (with or without level furrows), sloping borders, and sloping furrows to distribute irrigation water. The purpose of all of these techniques is to supply water in the right quantity, at the right time, and in an even layer, to achieve a uniform crop stand and minimize water losses.

Pros

  • The easiest of all the cabinet software I have demo used. Customizable manufacturing method that saves tons of time on new project. Great 3d rendering. Support forum. No subscription. Project mode allows for the client to see what their cabinet will look like. Drag and drop in project mode. 360 auto rotation 3D rendering. Instant cabinet sizes update after changes. Ease of adding new hardware to the library. Customizable types of joints. Very precise dxf output in the pro PP version which I have. Output files to work directly on a cnc. Two method to output your files, (1) Every cabinet to individual folders from project mode, (2) all to one folder. Lots of pre-configured settings of major CNC manufacturers. Compatible with all cnc machines. Quick overview of tooling and hardware obtained in "print preview". Adjustable transparency of solid 3D view to see hardware location. Two additional 3D views "wireframe and hidden faces" for additional project checking and a lot more.

Cons

  • A bit high priced but worth it, after purchase, 3 months of free support, beyond that, you pay. Their video tutorial lacks full details of how to fully use the software.
