Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros I like the task specifics. We can setup the software tailored to our business. Being a Union company, the remittance options is great! Unfragmented, unified work platform. Customizable reporting for accounting and project management. Quick, fast takeoffs with easy toggling for never ending addendums and alternates. As detailed or un-detailed as you prefer. Unparalleled customer support. I never thought there would have been an app that captures everything and then files it for you in the appropriate job detail! Very easy to track person-hours and essential job details. Change orders are straightforward to enter and track. I would use them just for that one purpose! Plans and take off on the fly. Ease of use. Exceptional customer service!!! Custom Report Building. Winbid Estimating Software Integration. Though the program itself is very impressive with the ability to access information from multiple areas simultaneously, what is most impressive to me is the quality of the support team. No matter the question or the issue, Plexxis support is always thoughtful, considerate and will do whatever it takes to provide a solution. My background is construction management and estimating, not accounting, however with help from Plexxis I am becoming a proficient construction accountant. Cons Reporting. It needs some reporting help. It is difficult to find or create information. I would love to be able to customize the reports. Set up time and onboarding. WinBid can get buggy and sluggish when running on the cloud. WinBid area takeoff tool also gets quirky. Interface on both WinBid and ERP can be confusing and clunky. Does not operate seamlessly with outside payroll companies. The plan room can take a long time to download. But it might have to do with all the plans that are in our system. Other than that I love it! Cost for new hire training. I feel if you are paying for additional users, the training cost should be included in the annual price you pay. There are some quirks in the program operation where you must click twice to enter information in the space provided. In particular, when entering a cost code for an invoice it requires you to click on the cost code tab or click the space twice to enable the ability to enter the cost code. This creates an extra unnecessary step. There are some similar issues in payroll requiring a double click to enter information.
