It automates the complete patching process—from scanning and detecting missing updates to testing and deploying them—so you don’t have to do manual work. It supports multiple platforms like Windows, macOS, Linux, and even third-party applications, which is very helpful in real environments. The tool also improves security by quickly fixing vulnerabilities and keeping systems up to date. ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus automates patch deployment across Windows, macOS, and Linux systems, as well as third-party applications like browsers and common productivity tools. It supports both on-prem and remote devices, making it effective for distributed networks. The scheduling engine, patch approval workflows, and rollback options reduce manual effort and help maintain security hygiene. Built-in reporting for patch compliance and vulnerabilities aligns well with audit requirements and simplifies compliance management. Integration with Active Directory and easy grouping of endpoints further streamline deployment operations. Patch Manager Plus automates patching for Windows, macOS, Linux, and third-party applications. Supports testing, approval workflows, and scheduling to avoid business disruption. Cons ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus has some limitations that users should consider. The user interface may feel slightly confusing or not very modern, making navigation difficult for new users. Sometimes patches fail to install properly, and the error details are not always clear, which makes troubleshooting harder. Getting initial patch policies and deployment groups configured can take some upfront planning, especially in complex environments. Alerting and notifications sometimes require tuning to avoid noise. Customizing reports beyond the built-in templates is limited and may not meet all reporting needs out-of-the-box. Some advanced reporting and automation features are available only in the enterprise edition. Limited offline patching support for isolated networks. Third-party application patch support may vary based on vendor updates. We've had a patch come a day late before, but other than than nothing we're concerned about. We're quite happy with the product and service so far.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros #1- Best solutions for digitally dependent businesses. #2- It makes control and security automated and more secure. #3- It automatically takes action in case of any vulnerability. I love that I can see my entire infrastructure and what issues it may have. This is a game changer for. Salt is at it base, an event engine, and that makes the entire system that more amazing Cons #1- We had an overall positive experience with it. It's sometimes comlicated, but I feel that it's still growing up.
