Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros The use interphase is quite similar to that of Adobe Acrobat. Thus, it is quite easy to make the switch from Adobe. While Adobe has switched to annual subscriptions, a format despised by a majority of users, PDF Pro was reasonably priced and available in a perpetual license format. My software was purchased many years ago but continues to perform flawlessly - wouldn't change it if they paid me! The Help Desk is one of the best over all the years I've used them. Always helpful solving my problems. There is no advantage to this software. The only thing it doesn’t without a fuss is to merge several PDF at once. But even then… I can't say anything good about the software. I purchased the software, I haven't used it in quite some time, but now that I want to use it they do not support it any longer. Keep pestering me to upgrade and pay more but I don't need an upgrade, I only need to use what I got in the first place. Cons Current PDF Pro is much pricier (perpetual format) than the previous versions, and the company is pushing monthly and annual plans. Can't think of anything I'm not happy with and would change Nothing comes to mind, they always respond quickly. To divide a PDF into several pages, you have to break it down manually! Impossible to modify without breaking your entire layout. When you save the merge PDF, it decide to save it according to the wind! Could be here or there.. so you end up with files everywhere. Even though you specified were you wanted them to be. I ask customer service to contact me, thinking there might be ways, that aI just don’t know about… nothing !! NO SUPPORT They wouldn't support me after buying their software.		Pros from Real Users Pros None. I found nothing useful in this product! I suggest you remove it from your site. It's a trap just a trap I like that I can convert multiple files into one file so several pages can all be printed with one command. I publish a small newsletter that originates as a word document. Saving it as a PDF before printing (after all the rewrites and corrections have been made) prevents any errors from being made with erroneous keystrokes when printing. I once had several hundred copies print with an error before I started making the final proof available as a PDF. Convenient, simple, excellent files. Everything works great. I basically use it to store all my documents in PDF format especially documents that I don't want to be changed. You must have it, all necessary PDF tools. There are shortcuts with the right mouse button, and many options to save the pdf file. I can ensure that my papers in: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, jpg are received as it was sent, is an automated acknowledgment of receipt. This program helps me in my volunteer capacities to send the occasional .PDF rather than WORD, because most folk can open a .PDF, but sometimes a WORD document will be distorted/corrupted when they try to print. It is free, simple, easy to use and good quality output is obtained. It is helping a lot to all types of people who need pdf documents. Its a great app. Been using it for a decade at work and home to keep copies of online documentation, receipts, anything I need a copy of and want to keep. It even names the file for you. You just point to the location. Used for years. It works. Converts all my documents to PDF files in seconds. Like that I can name the file and file it where I choose.
