Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros With Acrobat I always felt like I was fighting with it for control of how I use it, finding what I want. Acrobat tries to steer me all the time to what it thinks I want to do, and then pay more for some extra thing I want to do. With PDF Architect everything is exactly where I would expect it to be on the screen, but most importantly I feel I am in total control of which tools I use and how I use them. It is so well designed! I especially love the easy to use mark up tools, completely flexible and intuitive. Additionally I had a need for help with renewing to a different level, and I got very prompt and totally customer centered help. Support has been great. Prior to using this program I had used others on the market, I find this program is good and user friendly also the support is very good. In general the program works fine and it is a user friendly program. It has extensive options. You can extend it with modules such as secure and sign, which now also has new features. I use PDF Architect to add fields to my pdf's, so people can fill them in and send them back. And I can let people add there signature. I like to work with program, the functions it has. It's easy to use and it works what I need. Cons Sorry, can't think of any. There have been occasional small bugs but they seem to be taken care of pretty quickly as they disappear in the next version. Nothing negative to add. I find this program has a lot to offer if your are an extensive user. Every year some functionalities suddenly become unavailable. Then we need to contact support to resolve the issue. This happens too often and not at the time of a contract extension. I'm hoping for an upgrade that the program would detect a table and changes it into a form automatically in 1 action. Now I have to add each field by myself and that takes quite some time. Well, the changes in licesing models always bring us - the users problems Everytime it happened. The support was impossible to find on the website. If I hadn't have previous e-mails i'd be stuck.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Whilst the overall experience was rotten, this software allowed me to edit/combine the important PDF I needed at the time. I would never purchase it again and STRONGLY warn you beware of the EXTRA EXPENSIVE AUTO-RENEWAL which they will try to force you to keep even if you request cancellation within days. Cons I purchased this product for multiple devices with the extras (OCR etc)... It didn't do what I needed elegantly: The keyboard shortcut support is bad, it's quite slow (even on a powerful device) and the registration process is not convenient. You have to login each time you use it.. Worst of all - After the first few months, the product REFUSED my login. I am a former Information Security Specialist and use a password manager. I triple checked to ensure no user error. I got busy, and let it go... At the start of this year, they stung me over $150AU for the renewal. I immediately emailed them and requested: a) Cancellation and refund for this year b) Refund for the 9 months of the prior year (where I could not use the software) c) Access to the logs of usage They ignored all of that and simply told me I'd agreed to the renewal as part of the sign up. I am not disputing the transaction with my credit card provider and warning anyone to be careful of these guys! Please don't get bitten like I did.
