Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Software has all of the features we need for invoicing and bills with much more available for those that need it. Relatively easy to get started importing customers and accounts. Interface is nice and easy to navigate. Referred by an associate this product was easy to learn but very deep. Friendly hints to set-up and we like the inventory tracking portions to manage our products. Multicurrency was a big reason we chose this product. Easy to set up and use, with a logical layout and processes. Covers all that is required to run a business smoothly. Useful reports and advantages such as product label printing and storage of documents. Returns and credits handled easily. Only took 15 minutes to import our data and get moving. Easy to do things and program is very fast. Honestly I can't believe how little they charge for running payroll. US$2 for each employee is a steal. All our numbers are accurate, so calculations seem proper. We really like this software and have been looking for something like it for a long time. Price is like other accounting programs but the more we use, the more things we find it does that others don't. Can track our sales orders and stock really well without overpaying for bigger ERP systems. Cons An initial issue with beginning balances import, but that was a csv file issue. More help guides would be useful to explain the settings. More live support for countries outside the USA. Would like to hide some menu options if we don't use them, thank you. UK VAT returns have to be made via third party bridging software. No UK payroll. Not much to dislike but adding more pop-ups to explain some of the features would be helpful. Takes a few more minutes to set it up and import your data but once that's done, it's worth it. Could use some training videos.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros I like the no-nonsense command-line interface. PAYE and connection to HMRC is an incredible feature to have. I love that I can set it up on my own servers. It works very well. Stansoft is an excellent accounting software that addresses the needs of small businesses. It has lot of functionality but as a user based in UK, I've only used only VAT MTD and HMRC PAYE modules. * Extremley lightweight * Double entry accounting * G/L * Sales/AP/AR/Invoice generation * Up to date with UK Tax rules * Easy setup / clear documentation / video tutorials Runs in a Unix terminal. The features aren't hidden or obscured behind menu after menu. Reports are plain, easy to print or export into usable data. The support we have received for any issue/lack of knowledge has always been fantastic. HMRC approved for Vat and Paye submissions. Terminal based and accessible via ssh from anywhere in the world. Super fast. Multiple user logins unlimited. Easy layout of Menu's. Easy to understand. Great customer support if needed for a small fee. The manual is easy to read. Cons There's a lot of features. I only need it as a UK business, it would be cool if I could set it to a mode that would hide all the features and sections that wouldn't apply to me. You can just ignore those sections if you don't need them, but it'd be nice to be able to pick a setup that only shows you the options relevant to you. Text based UI Steep learning curve Potential for improvements to user experience I have yet to find anything I don't like about it. Nothing to dislike if I am honest. No issues to dislike at the moment.
