About

NoRedInk builds stronger writers through interest-based curriculum, adaptive exercises, and actionable data. Students can rearrange sentences, edit and mark up text, organize ideas into outlines, and manipulate multi-paragraph passages. Our engine differentiates instruction to meet each student's needs and to support learners when they get stuck. We generate every exercise from students' favorite celebrities, friends, and interests, making the content fun and relevant. Color-coded diagnostic data, growth reports, and gradebooks allow teachers and administrators to track progress in real time. NoRedInk's live tracking capabilities make it easy to prioritize, instruct, and intervene. NoRedInk makes student enrollment effortless, and our library of teacher resources covers the rest. Use NoRedInk with tools like Google Classroom and Clever for streamlined implementation.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Helps student build comprehension in writing by breaking down grammar, sentence structure and composition. Students practice and build on individual skills at their own pace. Each section has an optional diagnostic. The class assessment tools are easy to read and use and gives teachers suggestions on what lessons to present next for greater understanding. The premium version offers state assessment aligned writing practice and more in depth guided writing prompts.

Cons

  • The interface is not as interactive as students would prefer these days.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Easy to use , thorough, kids actually learn and don’t minds doing the work. Lessons and work sheets are provided. Can use as core curriculum and then outsource more supplementary work for the lesson provided.

Cons

  • Same sex books for kindergarten . I understand this is secular learning but it also says caters to all. I’m just assuming that, a lot of people homeschool to stay away from books like this especially having to explain this to a kindergartner. It should be up to me when I teach my kids about these things not just thrown in there randomly by a stranger. Does not align with my family values. Also some of the videos don’t load or are erased.
