About

NoMac provides cloud macOS virtual machines on Apple silicon for iOS and macOS development. Sessions include macOS, Xcode, iOS simulator runtimes and common developer tools, enabling builds, tests and simulator work without a physical Mac. Developers and coding agents can control sessions through a browser desktop, CLI, SSH, HTTPS API or hosted Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Workflows include building and testing apps, driving the simulator, capturing screenshots, signing apps and preparing TestFlight uploads. Each session is a fresh virtual machine deleted when stopped. An account drive can retain projects and build caches between sessions. NoMac serves iOS and macOS developers and teams using coding agents that need Xcode, including developers working from Windows or Linux. Usage is billed by the minute from prepaid credit, with a one-minute minimum and per-session spending cap.

About

Apple rolled out Swift in 2014 to replace Objective-C. There are still plenty of apps and projects that use Objective-C, and developers are faced with the prospect of either starting again from scratch or attempting to convert them to Swift. Swiftify for Xcode automates the conversion process, handling the task of replacing the syntax while letting you focus on the other aspects of project migration. As the name suggests, the service can be accessed directly from Xcode's Editor menu. You can convert a code selection or a whole file. You can paste Objective-C as Swift. It's also possible to convert files directly from Finder without booting up Xcode. Select the files and start the conversion from the context menu. Finally, the Advanced Project Converter app included in Swiftify for Xcode is designed to help you manage an entire project. It lets you explore the project in a dedicated UI and select files to be converted. Processed files are automatically added to the project.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Very Good conversion from ObjC to Swift. Has multiple options on how your code want to be converted like public, private ... etc. Xcode integration. Full app conversion.
  • It is really easy to use, and very straight forward. Plus the conversions are really good and it has a lot of helpful tips.
  • It helped me convert the objective c code to swift in fraction of sections. Very useful and works for bunch of objective c files.
  • It is easy to use and easy access for everyone. I am very happy when i use it as it easily converts the code.
  • If you need to convert a lot of OBJC classes, this tool can be very handy to help rewriting all c sources in the swift way.

Cons

  • High Price. Free option has multiple restrictions.
  • - It's expensive - Almost no options on free trial
  • I don't see any cons for this great product.
  • it is some how costly please reduce more price for users.
  • Not able to test a large project yet. But I think the results should be good as on small pieces.
