Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Great product that can do most PDF functions in one task pane. Most users adapt easily and the software is stable. Nitro Pro is an exclusive choice for e-documents, the important features of my choice will highlight as below; Text editing, copying to clipboard and pasting acquired text. Snipping a clear shot. Importing images & OCR to readable and editable docs. Merging different pdf to single file. Exporting pdf to other formats. Reviewing options highlight, shapes arrows and callouts, last but not least the E-Signature is my top favourite feature. It does allow tweaking PDFs. You can rotate them, similar to a Adobe PDF editor (i think it was called Standard or something). Nitro Pro has a large number of tools that are very beneficial in the professional environment when it comes to handling PDF documents in multiple ways. It has a great compatibility of various file formats in which you can work on them. Not only PDF can be created or edited, classic office formats such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint are also available, as well as images with jpeg, TIFF, png, etc. All these files can be worked on in nitro and in turn converted to PDF with good quality and without losing information in the process, so the process of converting the PDF to the original file format can be reversed. With this I have been able to regularly edit any PDF document and I have also been able to transfer them to other formats that are mostly Word documents. A very important feature is how easy it is to use this platform, which is why it has an easy-to-use interface and also has similarities to Microsoft Office. With this, any user can quickly adapt to the Nitro interface if they have already been working in the interface of any Office product, in the event that it has not been the case, the Nitro interface is super intuitive, so there is no lost in the process of handling any PDF document within this platform. There are no limits in editing any PDF, Nitro has multiple tools to edit any PDF. I can move any element or simply delete it, I can also change the size of the letters, as well as the font of the same. I can add images, signatures, stamps, etc. So there is no limit when it comes to wanting to make changes within a PDF in case a correction is required. In addition to all these tools, I can also sign documents digitally, being able to store my signatures in a secure way and link them to any PDF that needs to add my signature. Although I can use Nitro as an executable on Windows there are also features that are available in the cloud, I can access my documents on any device and also share my documents in the cloud with others as well for review or approval, this in addition to have tracking included to see the status and activity of my shared documents. All this was useful for me when I work collaboratively and all this happens in real time, plus I can also work collaboratively with other users within the same document and see the changes made by others. Cons Company will renege on their licensing and steal your software off you when they feel they deserve more money for what you already paid for. Nothing much can be done to the imported image rather cropping and makings better visual of picture. Sometimes OCR doc is miserable. It's slow. Slow to start. Slow to do anything. My company decided to save a few bucks by no longer using the Adobe PDF editor, the performance impact is big. It takes 3 minutes or more every time I print a PDF because I then have to rotate it 90 degrees. It does not have a mobile application in which it allows you to perform the same actions as in Windows or Mac, so everything must be done through a PC. I would like nitro to be able to be downloaded to iPhone or Android to be able to edit PDF documents on my mobile phone, this is inconvenient not being able to do it because if I'm on the move the portability of this platform is very useful so I can streamline the work process and not having to necessarily wait to get to my PC to be able to edit PDF documents. Nitro's optical character recognition is not very efficient, it's very valuable to me, I can't deny it, but sometimes it doesn't process well the texts I'm trying to convert from PDF documents that have content with scanned pages. This is frustrating because most of the time you tend to add spaces between lines having to delete them manually because Nitro doesn't do it automatically. This is a problem that has seemed very consistent to me and that they have not updated to improve it and thus not have to waste time editing a document that Nitro's optical character recognition has not generated the analyzed text correctly. Nitro does not have some advanced features that other PDF programs have. An example would be that this platform does not offer the ability to perform web publishing, calendar integration, application development or speech recognition. Although these functions may not be essential for all users who are going to use this platform, they may be important for companies or people who require a more complete solution, as is happening to me because I do not have those advanced functions that I do not have Nitro account. While Nitro Pro offers many benefits for users, there are also some drawbacks to consider before using the platform. One of the primary disadvantages is that it is only compatible with Windows operating systems. This means that users who work on other platforms or devices may not be able to use Nitro Pro, as it does not have a mobile version or a browser-based version. Another disadvantage of Nitro Pro is that it may sometimes lose the original formatting or fonts of the documents during editing or conversion. This can be frustrating for users who need to maintain the integrity and accuracy of their documents. Additionally, Nitro Pro may show errors or glitches when handling complex or large files, which can be time-consuming and disruptive to the workflow. One of the biggest drawbacks of Nitro Pro is that it does not offer a free version or a free trial option. Pros from Real Users Pros I don't know anything about the product. I was trying to open one file one day and I stumbled across this product that said it would open it for 99 cents. I had no idea that I was signing up for anything and it certainly was not clear that they would charge me $50 a month for something I'm really not even sure if I ever downloaded or used. Unfortunately it took me 3 payments to realize they were taking the money and they are not a decent enough company to do the right thing. Scammers!!!! I will make sure you will pay for what you did. You just wasted my time emailing you with my refund. You never refunded it to me!!!! No pros poor service unclear recurring charge refund denied very disappointing experience not worth it at all forever. I used it for a one time test and it was ok. I wanted to compress two videos but the final product lost quality. There are no pros ! Just stay away from this website as this is subscription trap and obviously this is a SCAM. N/A Nothing just for them to steal money and tell you that they can't refund you even though you dont need theire service Nothing extraordinary. You can find similar features on other apps which will not scam your money. This app is more like an enticement and entrapment to make you pay unwillingly. Professional appearance of document but took a lot of tries to have it downloaded professionally and then I had to print & scan it to be able to email it. Nothing
