Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Minimal coding efforts. This allows for faster development and deployment cycles. It provides a range of design elements and templates to help developers create intuitive interfaces. Seamless integration with SAP systems. We decided years ago to use the Neptune DX Platform for the development of our standard tools around user lifecycle management. But more and more we and our customers are experiencing and using the new features in the Open Edition of Neptune to build more easily and especially outside the SAP world quasi bridgeless apps and thus integrate the best of several worlds. With the very powerful API Factory within Neptune, virtually everything from the classic SAP cosmos can be exposed and connected to any source via REST API from the Open Edition. Of course, the boundaries are fluid when it is a low-code approach, but in any case, it is much easier and better to handle with Neptune. With the Open Edition and the adaptive framework, on the other hand, we see a true no-code approach, which is currently supported even more strongly and very professionally around the AI App Builder. Whether drawn "mockups" are uploaded automatically or you want to build wizard-supported from scratch apps, the classic power user or "citizen developer" will feel at home here. Cons Works good with SAP systems, not sure how well it integrates with non SAP systems. Personally, however, I always see a clear demarcation up to where it makes sense to let "non-developers" develop apps - and to support this approach - and at what point it no longer makes sense for someone to invest time in something for which they are not actually deployed and responsible in the company. I think the boundaries are fluid and must be drawn by everyone themselves. Neptune supports very extensively and leaves a lot of room to try more complex topics without a big programming background.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Once we set it up, it was incredibly easy to update text on our website. We wanted our marketing team to be able to make updates instead of having to go through a developer. We are a small business o we value efficiency. The best thing about Webflow is the fact that it is able to design everything without spending all the time coding everything, it is a robust software that helps with the design aspect of beautiful websites and provide a structure that helps slowly build the website, with things like HTML and JavaScript, it also integrates fully responsive and helpful data that helps create with professionalism in mind, it helps understand the motives of each design and what it helps with in terms of engagement with the users, and the styles are very creative and can be customized to help with the branding of the business, it has a helpful drag and drop tool to help build faster and delete anything in case it is necessary, this tool is very useful because it makes everything so much easier and the designing of the page becomes more entertaining and intuitive, the information can be included with this feature and the results are done way faster. It the easiest tool to build business and blog websites. It doesn't need coding to develop, so it's easy for anyone to use. Forms and surveys can also be developed. Simple drag and drop steps required for the development. Cons We have our site on Webflow and are undergoing a SOC-2 audit accreditation process for our company. We have hit a snag because SOC-2 requirements state we need certain headers on our website but Webflow is actually blocking us from being able to add the required headers. Their rationale is that we have to upgrade to "enterprise lite" for $15k annually in order to add the standard headers. For context, we added these headers to our product websites within minutes and achieved A+ ratings. Webflow is actually blocking us from being SOC-2 compliant unless we shell out $15k additional every year for the ability to add "custom" headers -- what they call "custom" are industry standard headers that any SOC-2 compliant website needs to have in place. Our website is a 9 page static website with just text. I would not say Webflow is secure or SOC-2 compliant given this experience, I would call them "SOC-2 optional" - and only an option if you pay 49x the regular price for a basic website. It has its great limitations which is very understandable because it actually works without coding, and there is only so much one can do without having to use code. But overall, I think that Webflow is very good and it is constantly providing new tools in the new versions that they release, I would like to see more editing options to the different addition of multimedia in the websites, and I would like to be able to edit simultaneously with other coworkers or even just one more team member, which helps build faster, it would be really nice to be able to do this because it would increase collaboration between the members in the business, I don't want to just be able to edit myself at the same time, but other people too and help each other communicating what has to be done. In my experience, Webflow is an outstanding tool to develop.
