About
Microsoft Autopilot is a persistent AI agent in Microsoft Copilot designed to continue working on assigned goals without requiring a new prompt for every step. Users can give Autopilot a name, role, objective, and boundaries, and it can monitor channels, follow up on conversations, run recurring work, and resume projects over time. The agent is cloud-hosted, allowing it to keep operating when the user is offline or focused on other tasks. Autopilot has its own identity, memory, computer, and workspace within the organization’s Microsoft 365 tenant. It can work across environments such as Teams, Outlook, chats, channels, and documents while using organizational context from Microsoft IQ. Permissions, auditing, and governance controls are built into the experience so organizations can manage what the agent can access and do.

About
VBScript is a programming language included with Microsoft Internet Explorer. For other browsers, contact your vendor about support. VBScript 2.0 (or later) is recommended for use with Agent. Although earlier versions of VBScript may work with Agent, they lack certain functions that you may want to use. You can download VBScript 2.0 and obtain further information on VBScript at the Microsoft Downloads site and the Microsoft VBScript site. With VBScript (2.0 or later), you can verify whether Microsoft Agent is installed by trying to create the object and checking to see if it exists. The following sample demonstrates how to check for the Agent control without triggering an auto-download of the control.
