Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros One of the main features that I liked about MeisterTask has been the way in which I can manage several tasks simultaneously, task management, within this platform and quite complete, and allows me to manage, monitor and assign new tasks to various employees, simultaneously, no matter the number of employees my company has, in the same way this platform will be able to provide me with constant monitoring of each of the scheduled activities and tasks. I also liked that this platform allows me to monitor in real time, each of the task assignments, in this way I can know the real status of each of the activities that I have assigned to my work team and to my employees throughout the company. I also liked that this platform allows me to use a work time system, in this way I can know how much time each of the employees has invested to complete their daily activities, I can also know in an automated way the work time that each of the employees has had on a specific day, this platform also serves as work time monitoring. MeisterTask also allows you to use a live chat system, in which employees can communicate with each other, and also share various assigned activities with you. One of the main things that I have liked about this great platform is the way in which it allows me to manage all the tasks that I have to assign to all the employees of the company. We currently have more than 50 employees throughout the company, and this platform has been key to being able to associate new task assignments for our employees, in a diverse way, each employee receives different tasks every day thanks to this platform. With the help of this service, I have been able to associate new tasks for any type of sector of my company, whether for the technology, marketing, sales or product area, it does not matter which sector I have to send a task to, this platform allows me to do it. I also liked the way I can closely monitor the progress of each task, and the people who are executing a task in real time. The real-time system works wonderfully and allows me to check the progress of each task individually. I can check the progress of the tasks that were to be executed for each area of the company. In addition, the platform automatically sends me notifications when an employee has not completed a task assigned for a specific date, which improves punctuality when delivering tasks for specific days or dates. In addition, it is incredible how employees who use this platform to manage all their tasks can exchange tasks between themselves and work together. This platform allows these employees to add a new colleague to a specific task as an assistant, in this way they can work together to execute the same task. In addition, employees can exchange tasks with their colleagues within the same area, which helps all tasks to be executed simultaneously. I use MeisterTask on a daily basis and what i like best about it is how it allows you to visually manage and organize my tasks and projects. It has got a very intuitive and user friendly user interface which makes it super easy to use even for new beginners. Also, i like that i can easily assign activities and and add a delivery date. The project boards become quite customizable, they give me the possibility of being able to adapt my workflows to meet my needs and those of my team, thus being able to have the preferences that best suit what really works for me. manage projects more comfortably. There are many options that I have in mind when being able to add in a project, such as checklists, sections, labels, attachments and also being able to leave comments, as well as my work team in order to have better feedback. The freedom of customization that MeisterTask gives me is the best because I have no limit in being able to adapt different projects to different needs without having to adjust to specific parameters of this platform, but I choose how I want to manage my projects. They have certain automations that allow me not to have to do repetitive tasks, but rather everything is done without having to do them manually, with certain parameters or rules I can make said assigned tasks or repetitive actions. With this I can assign tasks to certain people according to parameters that I have previously established without having to be within this platform to assign them manually, in addition to being automatically notified even if they have overdue tasks, this being easier for me when I drive a lot of projects. Integrations with other platforms are complete and it also has complementation with other tools from the Meister Suite, allowing the integration of data from these other tools with the data from MeisterTask. The integrations with other platforms are very well defined with respect to their functionality, although there are very few platforms that can officially connect with MeisterTask. However, in case you need to integrate more applications that are not available in the section of applications that can be connected, then you can use an automation platform that is available such as Zapier or another with which you are familiar or simply use the MeisterTask API to connect other platforms directly to it. + I liked how you can visually organize projects and tasks. It is very easy to understand the Gantt charts within MeisterTask since you can have continuous monitoring of everything that must be done for the effective completion of a project and also be able to quickly keep up to date with all the events, both problems in the course as the culmination of each task. + It is very easy to be able to assign groups of people for certain certain tasks, this is very practical when determining the qualified people for certain tasks that are needed within a project. Also, that I can divide these groups into subgroups in different subtasks to be more specific with the work activity established in a project and thus obtain the best performance when working collaboratively. + It was useful to be able to export the project in various formats such as .csv or .pdf, this helped several employees within my company to have the project both digitally without needing the internet and to be able to use the project within Excel to facilitate the management for other members who have not yet adapted to this platform. It also helps me to print and have it together with the documents associated with the projects and have everything complete. + The integration with multiple platforms allows me to have the different platforms and their functions connected to each other with MeisterTask, since I don't have to re-upload all the content from one platform to it, but simply connect it and everything will be available, just like the customer contacts, files like the ones I have in Box, chats from other platforms like Slack and many more integrations. Facilitating access without having to navigate between platforms to be able to add something that I had already uploaded on another platform with a cloud service. + It has templates for each different project in order to speed up the planning of a project and the distribution of tasks. In addition, custom templates can be saved in case a strategy works in order to apply it in another similar project, although if it is not similar it can be easily adapted by creating another type of template for another type of project. Cons I have not had any problems using this platform within my company to manage the various tasks and assignments of all my employees. This platform has performed wonderfully and has provided a totally stable service, which has helped me complete all my employees' assignments in a very short time. In addition, we have also used this platform as a service for project management, since it allows us to add new resources, calculate budgets and much more for projects. The entire operation of this platform has been completely positive. We have been using this platform for more than two years, and we have not had any problems during the management of tasks for each of our work teams within the technology services company. One of the main things that I have criticized a lot about this platform is that it does not have a service where you can work together within the same platform, either upload some type of document to edit and work together or upload some type of file so that employees can work together within the same task management panel, currently yes, some tasks can be modified so that they can work together, but outside of the applications, there is currently no type of panel within these applications that allows uploading new files or new tasks to be executed together, it would be excellent if this platform implemented a system where files can be shared, either to edit them together or to work with the help of a colleague specifically. I also did not like that this platform does not have automated notifications that allow employees. Receive notifications or reminders when you have a late task or when the delivery time is approaching and you have not completed the task. This system or this function is necessary so that our employees are always aware of the latest task assignments that have occurred within their sector. I would very much like this reminder function to be implemented as soon as possible. So far so good. Since i started using MeisterTask until today i haven't experienced anything challenging so i dislike nothing. The calendar or schedule view is only available for the business or corporation plan which for me is not necessary to have these expensive plans because I do not use all the features that can be handled in teams, with the Pro plan it is enough for me. However, despite the fact that the Pro plan is very good to be able to work individually, I cannot have access to the schedule of future tasks and events that I will have scheduled, so I necessarily had to upgrade to a business version to be able to have a calendar view with this missing feature which is very important for managing tasks and pending activities in my working life. Another way to be able to have a calendar view is through the integrations with the Outlook or Google Calendar calendar, this being a bit annoying because I don't want to check calendars from other platforms to see my MeisterTask tasks but I just want to be inside this platform and check my calendar even if my account is Pro. The subscription system is a huge mess, there are certain things that allow people with a Basic account to collaborate, but on other occasions other people in my team with a Basic account cannot enjoy or see certain things about the projects or assigned tasks. In addition, it is not so easy to be able to assign licenses to other users, so it tends to be complicated, and a solution could be to add the number of users allowed for any Premium plan on the main page of MeisterTask and if more are needed, add them at once the additional cost in order to have a better budget when wanting a platform to work collaboratively on projects. Another issue I have with regards to subscriptions is that if I purchase a mobile subscription I won't have the opportunity to make changes to the subscriptions through the website nor can I be added to teams so I had to wait for them to my subscription expired since it seems that the mobile subscription differs in relation to the subscriptions made on the website. Certain notifications have delays in both Windows and iOS and Android apps, the only app that works as well as the browser version is on Mac. This can be critical when you're running an important project and need to get notifications instantly of the latest updates, this being essential for anyone who is managing a project and that notifications are the first thing they see. - You cannot immediately download a file of a recently published task, this delays the workflow as you have to wait a certain time to have the availability of files such as documents that can describe in detail a task to be carried out within the environment labor. - The mobile application is not very intuitive nor is it the most complete to be able to manage tasks efficiently. This is very limiting to be able to have the portability of this platform since currently mobile devices are widely used in the work environment due to the simple fact that it is easier to have a smartphone at all times than to have a laptop which is very uncomfortable. for portability jobs. - Performance is a bit slow, sometimes it takes time to load a huge project, so you have to wait for it to load to manage projects. So if it had a better optimization, it could work more smoothly without having to have to wait for everything to load correctly. The mobile version works really fast, projects load much easier when I use MeisterTask with my smartphone. - The overview of the projects is not very intuitive when it comes to knowing their progress without entering the complete and detailed screen of each project, this is a bit useless having to enter each project to see the updates of each completed task. Also, it is also not practical to be able to manage two projects at the same time within the same window since it is very confusing, I hope that they improve this to be able to improve daily work and have a better performance. - I would like to be able to choose where to start every time I start the platform, since in my opinion it is much more practical to go to a specific task or leave the overview of a specific project. An example would be to ask the user before leaving this platform if he wants to leave the current workspace or select another when starting with MeisterTask, as well as being able to choose the default screen in case it is needed.
