About

No more databases, comment moderation, or pesky updates to install, just your content. Markdown, Liquid, HTML & CSS go in. Static sites come out ready for deployment. Permalinks, categories, pages, posts, and custom layouts are all first-class citizens here. Sick of dealing with hosting companies? GitHub Pages are powered by Jekyll, so you can easily deploy your site using GitHub for free, custom domain name and all. Jekyll is a static site generator. It takes text written in your favorite markup language and uses layouts to create a static website. You can tweak the site’s look and feel, URLs, the data displayed on the page, and more. The Jekyll gem makes a jekyll executable available to you in your terminal. Typically you’ll use jekyll serve while developing locally and jekyll build when you need to generate the site for production. To change Jekyll’s default build behavior have a look through the configuration options.

About

Siteprint is a Safari extension for Mac that turns the design of any website into a measured prompt your AI coding agent can use to build something new. Instead of relying on screenshots or vague visual descriptions, it inspects the page and captures concrete design values such as colors, type scale, spacing, corner radii, layout, and overall structure. Users can scan a site they like, export the results as design tokens or a DESIGN.md file, and pass that information directly to tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Lovable, or any other AI. Siteprint can also mix two sites into one design direction, combining elements such as one site’s colors with another site’s typography or layout. A built-in library keeps scans available for reuse, while grid overlays and an eyedropper help with direct visual inspection. With a local MCP server, supported coding agents can read saved scans directly and use them as design context while generating new pages.
