Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros When I was working at one of the national energy laboratories, we used Jamf to help keep all the Mac OS devices' software and operating systems up to date. We didn't like to automatically update to the latest OSes because sometimes the new releases aren't that stable and certain scientific equipment only worked with older versions, but with Jamf that was not an issue. JAMF had tons of tools to properly secure devices on our network and also make it easier for users when deploying new devices. Cons For whatever reason I still needed to code up a custom AppleScript to handle some software customizations that Jamf couldn't, or to get all the serial numbers of certain devices on a specific software version. I assume this was because Jamf couldn't do that easily, but maybe it could and my boss just didn't know better? Expensive is really the only downside but our customer had the money so it was a moot point.		Pros from Real Users Pros 1. Updated regularly 2. Easy to use 3.
