About

Scrumly is a browser-based toolkit for agile teams, scrum masters and product teams running retrospectives, sprint planning, estimation, workshops and team health checks. Teams create a session and share a link so participants can join without accounts. Its retrospective boards provide configurable templates, collaborative cards, voting, timers, action items, PDF export and optional AI summaries. Planning poker supports common and custom estimation scales, with votes hidden until reveal. A free account enables Jira issue import and Slack reminders for retrospective action items. A shared whiteboard supports sticky notes, text, arrows, cursors and exports, while team health checks collect ratings across six areas and present a radar chart. A Chrome extension brings planning poker into Google Meet. The browser tools are available in nine languages.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • GroupMap has been a critical tool as we have had to shift all of our events from in person to online due to Covid. It actually elevates our capacity to spark high quality conversations in large and small groups but having a shared screen with high functionality and so many different ways of having people engage the material. Particularly strong on brainstorming and evaluating ideas, but features go far beyond that. So many different ways to customize the maps to make them work for different situations. I also use it teaching now, because it works very well to switch back and forth between asynchronous and synchronous use.

Cons

  • Would like a little more flexibility with pricing, which is based on how many people maximum in a meeting and how many facilitators. Most of my meetings are smaller, but every once in a while I'll have a much larger meeting, requiring me to pay for the larger threshold at all times.
