About

Griffin is Tavus’s first Human Interaction Model, a full-duplex video-to-video system designed to understand and generate face-to-face human interaction in real time. Unlike traditional conversational systems that process speech recognition, language modeling, and speech synthesis sequentially, Griffin continuously perceives audio and video, decides when and how to respond, and generates expressive speech and video at the same time. It pays attention not only to words, but also to tone, gaze, facial expression, gestures, pauses, interruptions, and the surrounding visual context. The model can backchannel, yield or take the conversational turn, react to interruptions, remain engaged during silence, and adjust its emotional tone and nonverbal behavior as the interaction changes. Griffin generates the full visual scene from a reference image, including the face, body, hands, chair movement, shadows, and background, rather than animating only a talking head.

About

LipSync.video is a free AI lip sync generator that lets you upload video and audio (or text) and automatically match lip motions to speech, producing a natural-looking result with minimal effort. It supports common video formats (mp4, webm, ogg) with file size limits around 30 MB and works best when there is a single, well-lit, front-facing face in the video. The tool offers several specialized modes, such as Talking Photo, Baby Podcast, Pet Lip Sync, and Cartoon Lip Sync, enabling users to bring photos, animals, cartoons, or babies to life with synchronized speech. It also provides subtitling, visual settings, and style controls (like tone or expression). The platform handles data cleanup like removing outliers and focuses on usability, allowing you to work with simple uploads and get a polished video output in just a few clicks. No registration is required to try, and downloads are available once processing completes.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • The quality of the lipsync is good. The biggest problem is that in the produced videos the character/avatar constantly overacts, and its actions are often weird and off-putting. The character is supposed to be talking to camera, for instance, but instead is looking all over the place and gesturing randomly. And... There's not prompt, so you can't tell the AI what KIND of actions and reactions you want.

Cons

  • No ability to control the produced videos via prompt.
