Cost savings after Rackspaces significant monthly increase Good support, Ryan has been great! Ease of transition, mostly an administrative transition We had some concern as many did with the Rackspace price increase looming around the corner. I did a lot of research and when i found out that we could migrate to Greatmail without having to reconfigure ANYTHING, I was skeptical. But then I reached out to Ryan Hess who walked me through the process and it truly was that easy! in less than an hour, the migration was complete with no down time whatsoever. The only change, literally, is who we pay our (less expensive) bill to and who we reach out to for support. Thanks, Ryan and the Greatmail team! We've been using Rackspace email for 3 years. Suddenly Rackspace demanded 3 times (!!!) as much per-mailbox so we had to look for a new Provider. After doing some serious research we decided to try Greatmail. We contacted their support to migrate our mailboxes as usual but they offered us even better solution: we KEEP our existing Rackspace setup (with all mailboxes and settings) but we start paying old price to Greatmail as a re-seller instead of paying new price to Rackspace directly. So we signed for a new account with Greatmail and transferred our existing email domain to that new account. Next we canceled our old Rackspace account and avoided the ridiculous 3 times price increase. The whole process took less than an hour and we did NOT have to re-configure any email clients. ZERO DOWNTIME ! Excellent professional and timely support. Outstanding customer support and exemplary technical functionality. Personal interaction regardless of subject with perfect results - every time! Cons It is a small shop, which is also a positive, but can sometimes feels a little small business. No negatives so far...Ryan has been responsive and a big help! No cons whatsoever. Only regret is not switching earlier than we did, as others have stated. No Cons. We should have switched to Greatmail earlier. No issue at all. There are no outstanding concerns of any kind in our technical or personal relationship.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros None, the product worked to begin with but when it stopped working the support was dreadful and they locked us in. N/A. Cons The smtp service itself has intermittent failures that are reluctantly admitted after battering down the support door several times to find out why sites aren't sending emails. Worse still they have a plugin that was heartily sold to me as the Wordpress plugin when I started with them - this was supported gingerly at first, then, it still being on version 1 was entirely disowned by them - despite the plugin having all their branding and their site details and being published and distributed on the Wordpress platforms ... by them. They simply deny it now, having pushed me towards it and supporting it initially. Bad SMTP. Bad dashboard. Bad support. Bad price. Bad advantages. Bad everything.
