	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros It is huge! So many things that can be configured. Once you understand how to use Mimecast, its easy to maintain. 99.9% of the emails it blocks are legitimate, but easy to review and release those that were 'held'. Allows people to manage their own safe and blocked senders. Support is good as well. The system learns who the safe senders are. Mimecast does a fantastic job keeping spam emails out. Their portal allows you to see what was rejected and why, as well as the option to release an email once or permit emails moving forward. SasS-based. Why would you want to use an on-prem system where all that SPAM and virus-filled email hits your network? Powerful tool with a lot of features that are updated regularly, along with new features. A centralized admin portal lets IT handles everything in a single window. Automated large-file send feature is great. Cons It is huge! This can also be a drawback because it can be hard to find what you're after. Sometimes you can get to the same conclusion using multiple methods. I did find some emails that were not spam, and would have been beneficial to see at an earlier period. The program can feel over protective. Portal can definitely take a little while to learn and master. The workflow doesn't always follow the thought process of other apps so you need to spend time to be highly effective.
