About
We introduce the Granite series of decoder-only code models for code generative tasks (e.g., fixing bugs, explaining code, documenting code), trained with code written in 116 programming languages. About
Granite is a document vault for households and one-person businesses. It accepts PDFs, scans, phone photos, text files and email attachments, then identifies documents, extracts relevant fields such as dates and amounts, and organizes records around people, properties, vehicles and tax years. Its library covers more than 110 document types, including tax forms, identity records, insurance policies, leases, vehicle papers and medical documents. Users can search by document content and meaning; Granite Paid also answers plain-English questions with citations to the source page. The service runs in a web browser and on iPhone. Paid adds email-in, multiple vaults, sharing and emergency access. Dropbox folder synchronization is available, and a read-only API and MCP server let supported assistants and tools search and ask questions about a vault. Users can export their full vault as a ZIP of their original files.
