About

Forgot is a browser-based team calendar for engineering managers and team leads coordinating planned time off, on-call rotations, project work, public holidays and release dates. Managers can add people and events, organize views by team, office, time zone or custom fields, mark tentative dates, and flag when someone is away during a release or code freeze. Teams can submit availability through a link without creating accounts; read-only calendars can be shared or embedded, and weekly email summaries and weekday Slack posts help keep colleagues informed. Calendar feeds can be subscribed to from Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar. The optional Mac menu-bar app shows who is away and supports calendar edits. Forgot is designed for coordination rather than HR leave administration and does not track PTO balances or accruals.

About

Tockify includes a visually rich pinboard calendar as well as attractive modern takes on month grid and list/agenda style calendars. All styles look great on mobile too. Tockify blends seamlessly into your site to improve its looks and impress your visitors. You don't have to settle for a widgety calendar that undermines your style any more. Tockify's customizer tool lets you control every aspect of your calendar's colors, fonts and layout so you can make it match your site's style. All without any programming. Create daily, weekly or monthly events, then move or cancel particular repeats. Do you have an event that repeats on the second and last Tuesdays of every month? No problem. Our event submission feature makes it easy for you to let your community submit events to your calendar and to review and approve them before they're published. Add a prominent promotion button to any event and use it to send visitors to your tickets or booking page.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • I messed up my calendar and it switched to code on my website. I emailed them with my frustrations and within 20 minutes, they had gone in, found the mistake I made, fixed it, and followed back up with me. Highly recommend!
  • Beautiful calendar is a visual asset on our website. Users can submit events to be added to the calendar with approval from the administrator. Tockify supplies code for widgets which can be placed on websites. The calendar is highly customizable.

Cons

  • I wish I could click the link in the description when hovering over the event.
  • Wish there was an option to pay at the calendar for some events rather than having to link to a payment processor on some other platform.
