Filmustage is the first industry leading AI-based automatic script breakdown and scheduling service with up to 86% accuracy rate and result delivered in 1 minute created to speed-up, innovate and inspire people involved in pre-production and production process. The tool can be seamlessly integrated within any production workflow. Filmustage works with scripts in pdf and fdx, and supports export to mms, pdf, fdx, csv. The platform is customizable and easy-to-use: customers can find, add, change or remove any tag or category. Visual Reference board feature provides the possibility to convert thoughts into visual images and share them with the crew. You're free to attach a reference to each and every tag in your breakdown by choosing pictures from the asset stores, image stocks, or by uploading your own. With Filmustage’s Total Summary board all tags are sorted by the overall appearance in the scenes and even by their mentions in the entire script.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • That is really something brand new in filmmaking. AI is changing all the industries and here it does a fast and good job. Now I don't wanna switch back to manual script breakdown.

Cons

  • I need some more specific features and integrations.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Formats just like standard Hollywood script and has a few nice reformatting features and scene/character reports.

Cons

  • You can't hot key element type but have to mouse navigate; any imported scripts (even if output by final draft) have to have each element hand adjusted among other manual changes. There is zero support for languages with 'orbital' vowels and consonants - Particularly Thai and Khmer. I have opened numerous support requests and am always told it will be supported in a future version but has not been considered as of interest by their development team for over 5 years now. Both languages support unicode - word and open office and celtx all support but not final draft - and you can't paste in either - you just get non printing characters even if the system supports this languages for every other app (Windows 10 latest updates). So every script I work on in SE Asia has to be translated into english to format in final draft exported and translated back and then manually formatted to match the Hollywood 'paramount' format final draft provides. The developers are paid to work, right? All real software supports internationalization right? 😡😡
