About

ESdat is an intuitive and user-friendly software that helps environmental professionals manage a wide range of data. It is a trusted environmental data management system used by experts in the mining, consulting, and government sectors. Providing a powerful and accessible alternative to EQuIS, ESdat allows for faster, smarter, and more confident decision-making. With ESdat, users can: • Import data from laboratories, field teams, and sensors. • Instantly compare data against regulatory or site-specific standards. • Visualize trends via graphs, maps, and time-series reports. • Receive alerts for exceedances in real time. • Customize Chem Profiles to streamline reporting and compliance. Whether managing groundwater, soil, surface water, or air quality data, ESdat simplifies complex workflows and integrates seamlessly with internal systems, making it an ideal platform for organisations seeking better visibility, control, and compliance.

About

Solpile is Windows desktop software for geotechnical and structural engineers analyzing a single pile under lateral loading in layered soil. Users define pile geometry, section properties and soil layers, then apply pile-head or distributed loads to calculate response. It uses p-y soil models and a finite-difference beam-on-springs solver. Analysis options include groundwater, sloping ground, battered piles, static or cyclic loading, soil movement, nonlinear pile-section behavior, axial-load interaction and LRFD combinations. Results include deflection, bending moment, shear, soil reaction and p-y curves at selected depths. Additional studies cover pushover response, buckling, stiffness and pile length. Tables and reports can be exported to PDF, Word and Excel, and analyses can use SI or US customary units. Solpile is a Windows 10/11 desktop application with online licensing and offline use for up to 30 days.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Very easy to set up and get going. The support was excellent. The lab data imports and the built-in environmental standards save time and are a big plus for our environmental team. We have previously used Excel for data management and have been impressed by the advantages of moving to ESdat. We particularly like the EPA and Regulatory data submission capabilities.

Cons

  • No major concerns so far from our clients or us. Any problems we've had were quickly solved by the ESdat team.
