Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • User-friendly and intuitive, even when it comes to designing process diagrams. Is easily adapted to the industry and projects. It is not limited by the area of business and can be used in all of the departments. The mobile app is pretty handy, so communication with your team never stops.
  • The platform is very intuitive, you can start working in it right away without much training. Regular users do not need training at all. With every release, ELMA adds new features and improves the old ones. I am happy to say that our demands for specific tools are satisfied quite fast. The platform is great for collaboration between staff: tasks, projects, deadlines, reminders, to-do lists, automated workflows, calendar, substitutions.
  • )We have been using ELMA for more than two years, and I can tell you that our sales reps, accountants, engineers and procurement specialists are now demonstrating much higher efficiency in their work. It is extremely helpful that the system is user-friendly and intuitive, there really is no trouble setting it up! I am a system administrator, and in my opinion that is one of the main advantages of any software. A person with no technical background can open it in their browser and start working immediately. What else I really like: monitoring of all the processes and a transparent route for creating, approving and reviewing documents such as agreements. The secretaries say that it is very convenient for working with incoming and outgoing documents.. There is always someone accountable for any request we receive from our clients, which is extremely important in a company that does design and construction work so that every object is finished on time. I would also like to point out that the technical support is pretty good. People at ELMA are always there to help, so any technical problems are easily solved (not to say there were many, almost none in the last few months.)
  • We use ELMA for all the departments, including the assembly line management. It is simple yet illustrative when it comes to control of due dates, and we are able to complete the production cycle and deliver our product without any delays.
  • It's great for working with counterparties: to send and receive documents, register invoices, store contracts, and have automated document approval.

Cons

  • It allows you to do very complex things, but they are not done as easily as we expected. Some ideas might require programming skills.
  • I can’t say anything negative about the service, because in our case it helped us improve the processes, especially in acquiring new clients. All the tools work together to create a system that helps the business do things better. Also, it’s a good thing that the developers are constantly adding new capabilities to the system, making it more rich and convenient each time.
  • The processes that are more complex need a more complex logic to be implemented. You cannot do that without programming skills. So the analysts will need to communicate with the programmers, which means spending more of your resources on automation.
  • It would be great to have a wider range of available access permissions, for example, depending on the status of an app.
  • It provides an easier way to contact the tech support for external users.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • The interface of this platform makes it incredibly easy to create automation workflows. With drag-and-drop functionality for pre-built activities, as well as a recorder feature that captures user actions on the screen, UiPath enables even non-programmers to create sophisticated automation processes. UiPath's low-code approach is another feature that makes it a valuable tool for businesses. This approach allows users with limited coding experience to harness the power of the platform. In addition, UiPath also offers advanced features for developers who require more customization and flexibility in their workflows. The powerful UiPath orchestrator is another highlight of the platform. This tool manages and monitors automation bots, provides analytics and insights, and enables collaboration and governance. This means that companies can have full control over their automation processes while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. With UiPath, companies can choose from a wide range of capabilities that cover various use cases and industries. These include web automation, SAP automation, data mining, invoice processing, customer service, and many more. This means that companies can tailor the platform to meet their specific needs and requirements. UiPath's strong focus on innovation is evident in the constant updates and improvements to the platform. Recent examples include the integration service, dark mode, AI bots, and more. With UiPath, businesses can be confident that they are using a state-of-the-art platform that will continue to evolve and adapt to meet their needs.
  • As a professional who relies on workflow automation, I can confidently say that UiPath is one of the most user-friendly and versatile platforms available in the market. This platform has helped me and my team reduce manual efforts and save time by automating repetitive and mundane tasks. In this review, I'll share my experience using UiPath and the benefits it offers. One of the standout features of UiPath is its ease of use and learning. The platform offers a drag and drop functionality that allows non-technical users to create workflows without coding. The recording feature is also an excellent tool that can capture user actions and convert them into automation steps. I found it extremely easy to use and was able to start automating workflows quickly. This platform offers a wide range of pre-built activities that cover various applications and systems such as web, desktop, SAP, email, Excel, and more. This feature saves time and effort by eliminating the need to create custom activities. However, users can create custom workflows and activities to meet their specific automation needs. UiPath's robust orchestrator is another key feature that sets it apart from other workflow automation platforms. It can manage and monitor multiple robots in different environments, allowing users to schedule, activate, assign, and track automation jobs from a centralized dashboard. The orchestrator's analytics and reporting capabilities provide insights into the performance of the automation jobs, helping users identify areas for improvement. UiPath's strong artificial intelligence and machine learning component enable robots to handle unstructured data, natural language processing, computer vision, and cognitive automation. This capability enhances the automation process by providing intelligent insights and making automation more efficient. Users can also integrate UiPath with external AI platforms and services to further enhance their automation capabilities. It has a large and active user community that provides support, guidance, and best practices. The platform also offers free and open training courses through its academy, which helps users learn how to build bots from scratch, as well as advanced concepts. The training courses are easy to follow, and I found them to be incredibly useful in enhancing my skills and knowledge.
  • UiPath has a strong uniqueness that makes automation platforms fall a bit below it and that is that not only can you connect to external platforms through its API, but you can also apply UI automations, being able to interact through code internal of the different connected applications and can also interact through graphical interfaces of the different platforms that UiPath has. The possibilities that this platform has are very endless when it comes to automation to improve better workflows without having to put a lot of effort into programming this RPA. They have integrated artificial intelligence capabilities that can allow automatic learning models, which makes robots made with this platform more intelligent with information processing and can also generate more efficient optimization that can achieve the objectives set. With this feature, artificial intelligences can be created to perform different tasks, since they can be trained and then implemented in the required automations and can also be monitored in real time in order to see the impact that an artificial intelligence is causing, measuring its performance. and if the automation is working or not as planned during its construction. It allows an environment under the development of robots with low code, allowing automation to be carried out without requiring so much experience in a quick and easy way, through visual tools that can be used through the characteristics of drag and drop tasks that can be assigned and ordered by Steps. For more advanced and personalized features, tools or use, it will require some experience that I will leave in writing later to specify what I am trying to say, but for basic functions it is possible to have something and through trial and error it can be polished. robots so advanced that they can manage to satisfy certain needs. The community is very active and has a large number of developers who have experience in developing robots, this can be important in order to obtain knowledge and resources on how to have better efficiency by being able to create better quality robots that allow for better optimization in any area of work that is needed. Not only that counts with UiPath, but you can also find a lot of information through the blogs, webinars and courses that are on the website of this platform, I feel this is more useful to have good practices in automations. Also, within the UiPath community there is a large amount of material and solutions from other users that can be used for their own benefit or for a company that is looking for components that solve a problem but has little time to dedicate to building a robot or automation from zero scratch.
  • Works directly on UI layer, so no messing around with APIs and root access. Fairly easy to pick up in a short amount of time. Free version does enough for everyday users.
  • UiPath RPA is the most comprehensive robotic automation tool as it let us to automate almost every type of data workflows due to it's combability with many daily use applications and files.

Cons

  • Compared to some of its competitors, UiPath can be expensive, especially for enterprise level licenses. Additionally, the pricing scheme can be confusing and subject to frequent changes, making it difficult for companies to plan and budget for the platform. UiPath's slowness annoys me a lot, especially when dealing with large or complex workflows. Some users reported experiencing compatibility or stability issues with some activities or integrations, which may affect the efficiency and reliability of the automation process. UiPath's documentation for some of its newer features may be insufficient or out of date, making it difficult for users to fully understand and use these features. The support team can also be slow or unresponsive at times, which can be frustrating for businesses that require immediate assistance with troubleshooting or technical issues. As a result, some users may find that they rely more on user forums or online resources for help, which can be time consuming and less reliable.
  • While UiPath is a robust and versatile platform, there are some cons that users should keep in mind before investing in the platform. Here are some of the challenges that users may face while using UiPath. One of the primary concerns with UiPath is its cost. The platform can be expensive, particularly for small and medium-sized businesses that require multiple licenses or advanced features. Additionally, users may incur additional costs for cloud deployment, maintenance, and support. The pricing model of UiPath may not be suitable for organizations with a tight budget. Integration challenges can be another hurdle for users of UiPath. Users may face some integration challenges with complex IT infrastructures or legacy systems that may require custom scripting or configuration. This issue can result in additional time and effort required to integrate UiPath with existing systems. Another drawback of UiPath is that users may encounter some bugs or features that are unresponsive or unreliable. These bugs can hinder workflow automation and cause frustration for users. While UiPath has a large and active user community that provides support and guidance, it can still be challenging to resolve some of these issues. UiPath may also have some functionality and scalability limitations when dealing with large data volumes or image-based automation. Users may need some advanced knowledge or skills to handle some scenarios or use cases that are not covered by the pre-built activities or workflows. This issue can result in additional effort and time required to customize the platform to meet specific business needs.
  • You have to be familiar with this type of RPA platform, even more so when you have to connect the APIs of different web services that require automation through code, so you also have to have advanced programming knowledge to apply these improvements or automations. Therefore, if you are a private person with no prior knowledge of what I have just mentioned, you will need to invest a large amount of time and effort to learn about this platform and be able to handle it correctly in an effective way in order to achieve efficiency within the automations. There are many advanced features within this platform that you will need to go through certain challenges in order to fully understand the functionality of each tool or feature that UiPath offers. Keep in mind that there is a great risk when handling certain confidential information with this platform since, as I have said, it can handle automations both at the API level and also at the interface level, so certain storage data can be very confidential and that these robots can gain access to them. So you have to know about how privacy is managed and that the safeguarding of confidential information is being complied with since everything is stored in the cloud. I recommend that when using this platform for the first time, all available security measures such as two-step authentication are implemented, and that all data is encrypted for greater security and important data is not leaked.
  • Packages suddenly stop working and need to be downgraded to suit particular tasks. There are several errors which do not give proper information so troubleshooting is not easy at all. Design looks a little dated nowadays.
  • UiPath RPA performs well for all type of automations and no cons found.
