About

Dograh is an open source, self-hostable voice agent platform with a no-code workflow builder for creating production voice agents. Teams can choose their own inbound channels, speech-to-text, LLM, text-to-speech, and telephony providers, or replace the traditional cascade with speech-to-speech models for direct audio-in, audio-out conversations with natural turn-taking, interruption handling, and low latency. The platform supports inbound and outbound calling, widgets, telephony integrations, observability, traces, real-time analytics, hybrid pre-recorded voice plus TTS, and more than 70 languages. Its MCP server lets Claude Code, Cursor, OpenClaw, Codex, and other agent runtimes create, modify, and deploy voice agents directly from development environments. Dograh can run on your own servers, inside a private cloud or VPC, or in a managed environment, with support for models hosted entirely within your perimeter.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Before I found out about Telnyx I was trying Twilio, so it was really great that the Telnyx Twexit API is mostly compatible with codebases written for use with Twilio. The pricing isn't bad either.
  • Telnyx has always been the most reliable of the phone providers we use. They are also the quickest to respond and solve problems.
  • Prices are excellent and service offerings are fairly complete. Setup is easy and there are great tutorials for many systems.
  • The connectivity is exceptional. We have deployed in both US and Europe. Their customer service and tech support is amazing.
  • Excellent and ease to use and good service recommended for business/

Cons

  • Could be a pro depending on your perspective, but I wish Telnyx didn't go for the super personalized onboarding approach - as an introvert, I hesitated when I couldn't just spin up the docs and try it out via trial and error (you have to set up a call with telnyx engineers).
  • At first the portal UI was hard to learn to use to use.
  • There are some things missing like a fully functional SMS client. Need to use a 3rd party client or build own with the API.
  • Their display portal for the web connectivity report is lacking.
  • No cons.
