About

Docshark combines secure document sending, read proof, e-signatures, and data rooms into one link, so you always know a document was read before it was signed. Unlike DocuSign or DocSend, Docshark handles the entire flow in one place. Share a controlled link with a password, expiry, and view limits. Track time spent on every page. Collect signatures with OTP identity verification, 20+ field types, sequential routing, and a tamper-evident audit trail. For multi-file deals, Spaces gives you a data room with an NDA gate, per-file permissions, watermarks, and a built-in Q&A inbox. Mako, the built-in AI assistant, auto-suggests field placement and generates plain-language briefings for signers. Built for agencies, founders, legal, and ops teams who send contracts, proposals, and NDAs. Free plan available. No credit card required.

About

The Mako Server is a compact, event-driven web and application server designed for resource-constrained systems. Engineered for embedded environments, it combines a lightweight HTTP/HTTPS server with a Lua scripting engine, enabling high-level development with direct access to low-level C code. Its architecture delivers high performance, low memory use, and secure integration, making it ideal for systems that can’t support heavier frameworks but require dynamic web interfaces or APIs. The server supports live updates, built-in debugging, and Lua Server Pages (LSP), offering PHP-like scripting optimized for embedded use. Common use cases include device portals, diagnostic dashboards, REST APIs, and real-time WebSocket interfaces. Lua’s speed and small footprint align perfectly with the Mako Server’s goals. More than just a web server, Mako is a comprehensive framework that enables developers to integrate modern, secure, web-enabled features into compact devices.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • I’ve been using Docshark for a few weeks, and it’s been a solid tool for sending and signing important documents. What stands out is that it combines secure sharing, read proof, and e-signatures in one workflow, so I get much better visibility than with standard e-sign tools.
  • I started using Docshark right when it launched last week and it already feels like a tool that has been refined for years, the interface is super clean, the AI features actually save you real time and getting contracts sorted out went from a headache to something I barely think about now, our whole team got comfortable with it really fast

Cons

  • Some guides feel a bit high-level, especially when you want deeper workflow examples or more advanced implementation detail.
  • Would love to see third-party integrations added
