About

Protect your documents with Vaultie — digital signatures tied to authenticated selfies, anchored on blockchain, and instantly verifiable. Take a picture of yourself with your smartphone or computer. We compare your selfie to the picture on your ID to make sure you’re who you say you are. Upload your document to Vaultie. Drag and drop boxes to mark the places that need to be signed. Your signers don’t need a Vaultie subscription to sign a document. They just need to create a free account and verify their identity using their government issued ID. Every signer takes a selfie when they sign the document. That picture is compared to their photo ID to confirm they are who they say they are. A QR code is stamped on any document that is downloaded or printed, allowing for instant verification at any time in the future. Your documents are stored with Vaultie in your own personal encrypted archive and can be accessed from anywhere at any time.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Easy to use and super powerful to use. The great value of this app lets you do more than collect signatures. Edit pdfs, fill it forms, rapid document completion... The advanced features of filing in the blanks is offered on the free plan. So much more value for the money than other document signing software.
  • Dochub is easy to use, just upload the document and add the fields you want and send it out. Signatures meet ESIGN and UETA requirements making them legally binding. You can create templates that you "prefill" with data so your signers don't have to add their own information making the process fast and professional. The portal is customizable/brandable to your signers see your logo/brand. Saves time/speeds up closing contracts when all the signer needs to do is use their fingers (on a mobile device) to sign rather than printing, signing, scanning and emailing back (our old process). Makes us look good/professional!

Cons

  • Hard to mention any cons because there are none. RIP DocuSign, Hello, etc.
  • The navigation when adding form fields to a document is confusing at first. You have to click on an icon in the menu to show the list of fields to add. You cannot (from what I can tell) save a draft of a document you are setting up for signature for later completion.
