About

CourtListener is a free legal research website containing millions of legal opinions from federal and state courts. With CourtListener, lawyers, journalists, academics, and the public can research an important case, stay up to date with new opinions as they are filed, or do deep analysis using our raw data. Search millions of opinions by case name, topic, or citation. 406 Jurisdictions. Sponsored by the Non-Profit Free Law Project. Free Law Project seeks to provide free access to primary legal materials, develop legal research tools, and support academic research on legal corpora. We work diligently with volunteers to expand our efforts at building an open source, open access, legal research ecosystem. Currently Free Law Project sponsors the development of CourtListener, Juriscraper, and RECAP.

About

Surplus Funds is a cloud CRM and lead-research platform for professionals recovering excess proceeds from tax sales, foreclosure auctions and mortgage overages. It combines case and contact records, recovery pipelines, tasks and documents with skip-traced claimant data, property research, a power dialer, calling, SMS, email outreach, direct-mail letters and e-signatures. Its Ivy AI assistant can draft claimant communications and claim documents and summarize case records. Customers can use the CRM with their own leads or add selected-state or nationwide lead data; nationwide plans cover 47 states. The browser application is complemented by iPhone and Android apps, with Gmail and Outlook connections for case-linked email. The service is intended for independent recovery specialists, small teams and larger firms. Surplus amounts shown are estimates and should be verified with the relevant county or court.
