About

Certifier is a digital credential platform that helps organizations create, brand, issue, and manage verifiable digital certificates and badges, all from one place. It lets teams design on-brand credentials, connect to an LMS, CRM, form, or spreadsheet to automate issuance, and deliver shareable credentials to recipients on a white-label credential page. Certifier is trusted by 2,000+ global brands (Volvo, L'Oréal, Duolingo), organizations (Amazon, Salesforce, Mastercard), and universities (Stanford, UC Berkeley, Harvard). About

POK redefines how institutions issue and manage achievements. Create unique digital credentials as verifiable NFTs, designed from scratch or templates, and issue them in seconds via spreadsheet or API. Every credential is blockchain-secured, tamper-proof, and easily shareable on LinkedIn or other platforms—turning recognition into visibility. Beyond certification, POK lets you track engagement and measure employability outcomes, transforming static PDFs into trusted, dynamic assets that showcase real impact.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Let me be straightforward here: - intuitive builder; - templates library; - the possibility to create custom certificate design from scratch; - automatic certificates generation; - automatic certificates distribution; - branded email templates; - white labeled emails; - responsive customer support; - flexible pricing.
  • With Certifier, we can issue professionally-looking certificates quickly and easily. The ease of use and quick onboarding are excellent advantages in comparison with other systems we used before. The branding features, e.g. white-labeled email templates, are also fantastic.
  • Certifier dramatically simplifies the process of issuing certificates. I cannot even imagine how much time we have saved issuing certificates with Certifier compared to the solutions we used in the past. The application is easy to use and works as described. The team said that the onboarding process took less than 15 minutes. It is really impressive for a software fulfilling such functions.

Cons

  • - no native API integrations; - no possibility to “save” a group, meaning that issuing new certificates to the them group of students requires following all the steps I have already followed.
  • We would like to see more certificate management features added. For example, the Certifier's team should think of adding an option of automatically resending the certificates that have not been opened by a recipient. Sometimes our recipients experience difficulties trying to find their credentials in the inbox. The thing is that issued certificates can get lost in the spam folder, which is quite frustrating.
  • Once, we had problems uploading the list of recipients because its size was way too big. I wish Certifier’s team informed us about this in advance since we lost some time figuring out where the problem was. We are also passionately looking forward to seeing new features like API integrations and email templates builder.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • What we liked most about POK is how it makes managing credentials so much easier. We can issue, update, and verify everything quickly without getting stuck in paperwork. Plus, the team at POK is great—they actually listen to our feedback and are always ready to help, which makes the whole experience even better.
  • It solves our need to provide certificates of completion in an easy, automated way, and trustworthy for the participants. The basic version is very complete and free
  • The platform is very easy to use and they have a great service. The credentials security is guaranteed beacuse of their NFTs. They are based on a public blockchain so I am assured that the certificates are either property of my institution or property of my students. I can track my students employability. I can customize the hole process with my institutions branding. They have free web2 certificates that also very good; difference is that those certificates are not located on any blockchain, they are just a PDF like any other platform has (not for free though). I can emit NFTs in bulk in just some minutes!
  • It offers an unlimited free version with a fully self-service platform. I was able to issue digital badges and credentials in just a few minutes! Plus, I noticed you can issue digital credentials via the Polygon blockchain. It includes many features I haven’t seen in competitors — and everything is fully compatible with Open Badge 3.0!
  • What truly attracts me to POK – Proof of Knowledge is its courage to do something most don't dare to: take digital credentials to the next level. Instead of offering halfway solutions or relying on pure marketing, they're committed to real NFTs on a public blockchain, ensuring genuine ownership for the user. What does this mean in practice? The user is the true owner: The credentials are held directly in the owner's wallet. They aren't a loan from the platform but a genuine digital asset. Leading the way with standards: They are pioneers, strictly complying with the most important global standards (OpenBadge 3.0, European Learning Model, LTI, GDPR). As founders of 1EdTech LATAM, their voice holds real weight in defining these parameters. A clear and fair model: Their platform is completely free to use. They only charge for issuing credentials, with no surprises like hidden fees or restrictive premium plans. Unlimited connections: They offer open APIs, LTI, and plug-and-play compatibility with a wide range of systems, from learning platforms like Moodle, Canvas, and Blackboard, to CRMs like Salesforce and HubSpot. Security and interoperability as their banner: Using a public blockchain ensures that data is verifiable, permanent, and compatible with any other system. Leadership with a future-forward vision: They are the benchmark in Latin America, and their expansion into the United States, Europe, and Japan shows that their model is making a global impact.

Cons

  • One challenge with POK is that many institutions still don’t fully understand how blockchain credentials work, so it can take some time for them to adopt it. But this also works in our favor, because it gives us an edge: we can showcase our achievements securely and verifiably before many others, building trust quickly.
  • in the past, we needed to customize the certification, but it has been addressed
  • So far I have not had any problem. I have already emitted some 3600 certificates and 1000 badges.
  • In the time that i use this platform i didnt find anything that i saw as a con!
  • If I had to find a weak point for POK – Proof of Knowledge, it wouldn't be in its value proposition, which I find to be very solid and unique. Instead, it lies in areas that, if improved, could boost its growth and adoption. Greater Visibility Outside Latin America: While it's an undisputed leader in the region, its global presence isn't yet on par with competitors like Credly or Accredible. This isn't a product issue, but an opportunity in marketing and public relations to make its name known worldwide. Educating the Market on NFTs: The term "credential NFT" is still confusing. Many institutions don't understand the crucial difference between a real NFT hosted on a public blockchain and a more conventional digital credential that just uses the word "blockchain" as a marketing tactic. It's vital to create more educational content and showcase concrete use cases to explain this. Improved Digital Positioning: Its website could be better optimized for global searches in English (SEO and AEO). This would allow universities and companies from around the world to easily find POK when looking for digital credential solutions. Strengthening Strategic Alliances: Despite having open and accessible integrations (APIs, LTI), the company could benefit from stronger alliances with major tech companies and global educational associations to accelerate its expansion. Countering the Negative Perception of NFTs: In certain markets, the word "NFT" is associated more with digital collectibles and speculation than with a serious use case like credentials. POK must continue working to redefine this term, associating it with "verifiable and permanent digital ownership."
