Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Cheap only 30-40 bucks for a year off offsite backups. Installed first try. The certificates are from Aoemi i think, or fake. None. Nothing good. Pure confusion. A total waste of my time and a significant data loss for me. Very Depressing. When it worked for the 5 minutes it did, it did what it was supposed to. Kept logging me out and wouldn't sign back in. I was looking for a good cloud backup solution and I thought I found one. I also liked the functionality to sync from cloud to cloud, and the option to combine all clouds to one personal cloud. Cons I'm probably going to file a chargeback because this isn even worth 30-40 bucks i paid for 1year x 1tb of OFFsite Fire safe storage. But even if you're able to complete a backup before the upload fails you cant trust these people with your data. There's no way to browse files easily. They your accounts linked to their cloud so they can skim your data. When i uploaded my encrypted desktop backup, failed every time. But my macbook backup is clear text folders and it uploaded. Skim Garbage product, Garbage product, Garbage product, Garbage product, Garbage product, Garbage product I lost everything that was previously on my OneDrive. Totally gone forever. Not in the cloud. Not on my C: drive. Incredible. I remember decades ago when trying a new product was not so risky. Now I read the other reviews and see I am not alone. Sad. Keeps logging me out multiple times a day. It wouldn't log back in. Asked for a refund but am just past the time allotted for a refund. But I guess they need the money more.... Backup slow and many times runs into errors without clear reason or fault. Backup-task suddenly 'removed' spontaneously by the software, message showed, all gone. No possibility to delete backup sets left in the Cloud, you need to remove them with the cloud-app. also that file that states: Cbackup: do not delete any files in this folder ..... 1TB Cbackup Cloud storage cannot be used as ' cloud' in this software -- WTF ? PCloud not supported.		Pros from Real Users Pros Very easy to submit a support ticket via the control panel. I was notified of ticket updates via email almost instantly. Support was friendly and knowledgeable. What I liked most about Comet Backup is its flexibility and security. The customizable storage options and fast recovery process make it a reliable solution for data protection. Comet is available for almost anything you can think of. Windows, Linux, MacOS. You can also backup information from Microsoft 365. The software works fine, there are plenty of storage options. Comet Backup is easy use and offers great features automatic backups and strong data encryption it works well with various platforms and cloud storage options, making it perfect for my needs. There are many things that i like about Comet Backup some of them are. Good user interface, clean dashboards, user friendly software as well as very much cost effective. The application provides a very easy way to back up with enough flexibility in the customization. The implementation and ease of use is very efficient and makes the features work better. It even integrates seamlessly with other cloud providers like azure. The support has been great to deal with. Some bugs were found and they were quick to mitigate them. Backup works great. Easy API. I like the ability to host my own server. Easy to setup and supports a wide range of operating systems including NAS vendors. First of all, I chose this product because it had all the features I needed and was relatively affordable. Second, I’ve been using it for several years now, and there haven’t been any major issues—whenever something did come up, support was always quick to help.
