Pros from Real Users Pros i like the fact you can upload your building plans directly & scale them , measure walls or floors right on your screen to get quick, accurate material counts & then turn a won estimate into a live project calendar & build Gantt charts, generate purchase orders & work orders for your subcontractors Integrates well with other programs. The Support is very good, I get answers within minutes. Well-rounded program, suits me well as a small builder. I can track my jobs in live time, labor hours through the buildxact onsite app are easily tracked to labor costings Extremely time saving, easy to use, basic but detailed enough for building. Great for sending off quotes to clients. Great for ordering with suppliers and for work orders for sub-contractors. Buildxact is user friendly, does everything from quoting, job management, ordering, accounting to timesheets.		Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Dumb down version of RS Means assemblies. Residential order of magnitude type work is fine. There is no other pros. If you are looking to check a box that you did an ESI, maybe this is an ok product. See below. Cons Does not have all the typical structural MEP components. IT service is dismal. Deceptive business practice on subscription services. This was the worst decision I made in my 35 + years in the insurance restoration industry... We tried to make it work but it was such old technology and still in beta. I thought maybe it was me but I had my IT guy sit brown with me and he said it was a joke. The part that was crazy is that I actually have documentation from them saying that they support what I was saying . I asked for my money back and they would not give a refund.
