You can take advantage of any or all services it provides, based on your needs. I have been using this app for about two weeks now and love it. It was easy to read, easy to use and I would not want to work with any other app. I love using the buddy punch app it is very user friendly as well as easy to manage- edit and change shifts as well as scheduling PTO time. The fact you can adjust the hours at anytime before posting is the most helpful think about Buddy Punch - efficient - easy to navigate - nice design - smooth software - allowed to add in lunch breaks - can edit timesheet after clock out well for the managers that can't handle time sheets and want to geofence and track their clients around.... monitor that they are indeed working and staying at the desk to log in and log out. or if they are on their phone follow their phone around during the day to see where they've gone off to for a long lunch... - Great customer service that is always ready to help. - Clean and easy to use interface. - Scheduling creation tools are fantastic. - Tracking employee hours and time cards is simple and readable. - My team loves it! Very easy to use, has a good amount of features, the design is slick, the support team is awesome, and the pricing is reasonable. Great way to punch in and out for work. When my boss is not able to verify my attendance, this is a great way for them to verify it. Amazing customer service, very user friendly platform, intuitive setup, and onboarding was great! Also love how it integrates with QB Desktop!		Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros This platform has given me complete monitoring, although it lacks certain features it is still useful for any company that needs to improve work performance, so I will mention the positive points that are most useful to me when I am using this platform: + It allows multiple windows of all the computers that are being monitored within my company, this was very useful to be able to have a quick perspective of who is doing their work and who is not, although I have a problem with this function, it is still a good one characteristic. + I can see in real time everything my employees are doing, as well as record in order to have support in case there is an inconvenience due to lack of work activity. I can have those recordings both in Time Doctor and download them to my computer so I have the recordings available at all times. + It works even if there is no internet connection, this is very useful because I can make sure that every minute that passes during working hours is recorded in case of some mishap with the internet connection, it has happened to me several times in which the connection and Time Doctor was intact. + It is very easy to navigate, it can seem like a very overwhelming platform with its tools taking up a large part of the user monitoring panel, however, it is easy to adapt to locating where your tools are and using them at any given time. Its interface needs to be polished a bit, but that would remain a negative aspect that I will write about later. + Time Doctor notifies me when an inactivity occurs by a user who is not doing anything at all. This is very useful in case you cannot have the view of all the screens in case there are many employees to monitor. In addition, this platform detects when there are patterns, thus being able to detect fraud when an employee applies software to deceive the system. + Generates very complete reports of all the activity of all the users that are being monitored, this is very useful for the human resources department when they are evaluating the performance of the employees and thus apply a correction or simply discard said employee who does not comply with business hours. Screen monitoring works flawlessly. 1.- Its interface is very complete with respect to the functions it has to carry out a correct follow-up. There is nothing that Time Doctor lacks compared to other time tracking software, I have done an intensive analysis comparing other software and I have concluded that this one is more complete in relation to the costs of the plans they offer. 2.- One of the features that caught my attention about this software and that made me choose it as a time tracking platform at work is that I can track the time usage of each employee of the company without even requiring a connection. to Internet. Many softwares, in most cases today, all have to be exclusively connected to the Internet and that hinders the ability to use said software in case you do not have a connection. With Time Doctor it has not been like that since it is configured locally and I can include within the configuration to be able to manage it from another device through the internet in case it is required. 3.- It integrates very well with project collaboration software as in the case of Trello, allowing this to have better monitoring when we want to know if the employees are carrying out their assigned tasks of a project and thus meet the deadlines proposed by the client. . It improves productivity to be able to track time within the company when I can integrate platforms and thus be more informed about what my employees are doing. 4.- I can create a screenshot of the employee whom I am tracking regardless of the number of screens open, managing the time tracking of other employees. It is very useful to be able to do this when I need to save evidence of something that I want to notify the employee of what he is doing wrong to correct him. In general, most people use windows cutouts, use the "Print Screen" of the keyboard or use some other external software, which is not very useful when you have many windows open so it is better to do it directly within Time Doctor and save automatically. 5.- It is very difficult to fool this software, before being able to implement it within the company. Time Doctor detects if an employee is really not being productive and analyzes each movement that the user makes on the computer, it can detect patterns in case an employee is cheating and immediately notifies me so that I can be alert. It also notifies me when a user is taking a break longer than they should when no action is taking place or alerts me when they use disallowed software or browse distracting sites during business hours. Time Doctor is a fantastic software to have a correct monitoring of the work time of each of your employees, the main thing that I like about this platform is that it has a silent mode, this mode allows you to hide this application inside the computer, achieving that the users or the employees cannot know that they are monitoring it. Another thing that I like about this platform is that it is very precise when it comes to measuring the work time of each employee, since it detects the time that the employee is inactive on the computer and does not count it as work time. work, this is a very important function as it measures the correct time. I also like that this platform records all the pages the employee visits and also the apps they use. ° Allows you to take a screenshot of the applications you are using at that moment as well as which applications or sites you visit frequently. This helps a lot when we need an employee to be able to manage their time at work by performing assigned tasks without any distraction. ° It is very customizable since it is not only an interface with flat colors and simple, but I can visually adapt to each employee who is being monitored in terms of their work force and thus clearly see the different times managed between employees having any condition . ° Not only can I take a screenshot at any random moment of the work session, but I can also record a specific moment if required, and I can also see the report pages of the entire day that an employee was on their computer. ° Breaks can be taken by modifying the platform by programming or simply placing it manually, since sometimes breaks are randomly made periodically so as not to tire employees of monotonous work. ° The report generator can be displayed at the determined time that I require it, thus being able to increase the productivity of my work team. This is very good since when you did not carry out a manual follow-up, it is enough to leave the automatic follow-up and every week review how efficient each employee was within the work environment. ° I can track anywhere because TimeDoctor is multiplatform. So I don't need to be glued to my laptop all day to know how my employees are doing when they're at work. ° It also shows me the idle time in case I am not on a break schedule. So I can see if the employee is being productive and also that I am always automatically notified when that happens. This function helps me a lot in case I am busy doing my work within the company and I am not monitoring my employees. Cons - My computer slows down when I'm looking at multiple desktops at once, it seems like this isn't very optimized or it just consumes a lot of resources. I had not anticipated this, so it makes the process of supervising my employees more tedious since I have to do it one by one or when I detect inactivity. - Tech support response time is a bit slow, if you deliver good solutions, but it takes time to get immediate solutions. This causes loss of time when you want to achieve a complete monitoring job and it is interrupted by some failure, so if you could improve the response speed it would be fine for me. - The dashboard should improve its interface, it is very complete and I like that it has all the features available without so many clicks. However, I prefer a cleaner and simpler user interface to just focus on monitoring my employees without so many features on top of it is more practical, at least for me it is. - It would be nice if a break could be taken, for example, to go to the bathroom without the counter adding minutes of inactivity. I have had complaints from employees about this problem since their activity time has stopped when they have had to go to the bathroom. bathroom and it has seen a negative impact on their working hours. This would be useful as you would not have to do an intense inspection on what happened while the computer was idle but just receive a notification when an employee needs a few minutes to do their business without harming you. - Apparently a little expensive, if it weren't for the fact that I have to maintain productivity within my company using monitoring, I would not have paid for the services of this platform since the return on investment is somewhat neutral, productivity practically compensates for the price but not increase the income of my company. - The Chrome extension is not very useful and also sometimes it does not update automatically, which on computers with few resources is a nuisance because for me the extension was a solution, but apparently it has its drawbacks. The user interface is not friendly for me. Need to watch tutorials to learn about its features. 1.- I have problems with some software that I use on the company's computers. This software seems to use the same function that Time Doctor uses and it seems to intervene in employee monitoring. This has had several consequences with the employees because it seems that they were not doing anything during their working hours when they were not, but this platform was interrupted by other software, thus having to overlook many uncomfortable situations of confusion. 2.- I would like the control panel to be simpler, thus being able to view only the necessary functions to carry out a daily follow-up or I would like to have the ability to modify the functions of the different sections of this platform to be able to choose what I want to leave and what I want to remove to make monitoring work easier. In addition, I also wish that it could have a dark mode so as not to tire my eyes when I am tracking an employee, lately any platform / application / software allows that function and it seems that Time Doctor is lagging behind in that option. 3.- I honestly don't understand why on several occasions the mobile application closes or crashes, making this waste my time when I want to perform live monitoring of employees. It seems that the Time Doctor team is not serious about improving the performance of the mobile application knowing that nowadays almost everyone has a smartphone and does many things on it, including work. So a positive point if they improve that aspect. 4.- The technical support is a bit slow in responding to any questions or inconveniences, at one point it took up to three days to be able to take my ticket and attend to my message which required help in a configuration, this delayed my work a lot company and I couldn't monitor well during those days trying to solve the problem by myself. One of the main negative things about this platform is that you cannot configure the activities that will be carried out within the working time of each employee's working day, for example, if you want to divide the working hours for each of the daily activities, you can't You can do it within this platform, since this platform will only tell me the work time and cannot record the completion of an activity in a specified time. Another negative thing is that the mobile app within the iOS devices is quite basic, this app is only capable of measuring the working time of the employees and does not provide you with more detailed information, it cannot know which page they visited and what applications they used, to know that information you must use the version for computers. ° The mobile application sometimes gets stuck but it is a matter of waiting. Apparently no matter how modern a device I count, TimeDoctor is not well optimized and even more so when there are too many employees added to the platform. That makes my phone explode due to the poor performance that this platform gives. ° The implementation and configuration was quite a process, since we were not used to this type of platform. So think hard and report before purchasing any plans with this platform because also the learning curve is steep and you will generally need trained personnel from human resources or any other department that knows about this platform to do a good job in monitoring employees. . ° I can tell when a person is inactive since they are not typing yes or by moving the mouse more, however it does not mean that they are not going to go if nothing but that they took a little time to think, this sometimes gives a lot to say because yes It is true that an employee needs to think to support a client and it takes time to provide solutions, so if the person in charge of monitors does not move the mouse or write, the employees will think that he is not doing his job and that is not the case. They should improve that system, more than anything when it is an automatic monitoring, because manually it hardly happens because obviously you can record the screen or see the logs. ° I would like the employee being monitored to have the opportunity to explain why he stopped his productivity at some point in his work hour. In this way we avoid conditions and we do not have so many false positives in terms of complaints from employees who are supposedly not performing their respective duties.
