About

BPA1 Personal is a Windows desktop app builder for creating local database applications without setting up a separate database server. Users can design related tables and fields, build data-entry forms, write or visually assemble queries, create reports, and configure automations and triggers. Projects package the database, forms, reports, attachments, and documents in a portable .bpa1 file backed by SQLite. The app also supports CSV and Excel import and export, dashboards, menus, and read-only copies for sharing. Optional AI features can generate app structures and answer questions about project documents using a user-provided OpenAI API key; those API charges are billed separately. It is intended for individuals, consultants, small businesses, councils, charities, and operations teams that need structured records or task-specific data apps stored locally.

About

SQLite is a C-language library that implements a small, fast, self-contained, high-reliability, full-featured, SQL database engine. SQLite is the most used database engine in the world. SQLite is built into all mobile phones and most computers and comes bundled inside countless other applications that people use every day. SQLite is an in-process library that implements a self-contained, serverless, zero-configuration, transactional SQL database engine. The code for SQLite is in the public domain and is thus free for use for any purpose, commercial or private. SQLite is the most widely deployed database in the world with more applications than we can count, including several high-profile projects.
