About

AtomGit is an open source code hosting and collaborative development platform that brings code hosting, project management, team collaboration, CI/CD, and open source operations into one environment. Developers can create public or private repositories, manage branches and releases, review code through pull requests, track issues and tasks, edit files online, configure permissions, and view project statistics. Its native AtomGit Action automation engine follows a Pipeline as Code approach, allowing teams to define build, test, and deployment workflows in YAML, store them alongside application code, and trigger them from events such as pushes, pull requests, or comments. Reusable workflows, artifacts, dependency caching, encrypted secrets, concurrency controls, and hosted or self-hosted runners support more advanced delivery pipelines. It also includes WebIDE capabilities for browser-based development without a local environment and supports code, model, and dataset.

About

Mercurial is a free, distributed source control management tool. It efficiently handles projects of any size and offers an easy and intuitive interface. Mercurial efficiently handles projects of any size and kind. Every clone contains the whole project history, so most actions are local, fast and convenient. Mercurial supports a multitude of workflows and you can easily enhance its functionality with extensions. Mercurial strives to deliver on each of its promises. Most tasks simply work on the first try and without requiring arcane knowledge. The functionality of Mercurial can be increased with extensions, either by activating the official ones which are shipped with Mercurial or downloading some from the wiki or by writing your own. Extensions are written in Python and can change the workings of the basic commands, add new commands and access all the core functions of Mercurial.
