Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros AssetLoom has been a game-changer for our company. Its intuitive interface makes tracking hardware and software licenses across multiple locations effortless, saving our team hours of manual work. The real-time stock visibility and low-stock alerts ensure we’re never caught off guard, while automated maintenance reminders keep our assets in top shape. The integration with Jira allows seamless ticket-to-asset linking, boosting efficiency. Customizable reports provide clear insights into asset performance, helping us optimize budgets. The support team is responsive and proactive, quickly addressing queries and even implementing feature suggestions, which enhances our workflow significantly. I'm finding it very useful for storing all my asset inventory and associating the corresponding JIRA tickets. I had to send a query to support for some questions and the response was quick and adequate to my needs. AssetLoom has been really helpful in keeping track of all our IT assets in one place. The interface is straightforward, and I can quickly find details about devices, software, and warranties without digging through spreadsheets. The reports are also useful for seeing what needs to be replaced or updated. Cons While AssetLoom excels overall, the initial setup took a bit longer than expected due to customizing fields for our diverse assets. The mobile app could also use a slight speed boost for on-the-go updates. Minor gripes, but worth noting. it will be better if we can automatically import assets rather than preparing a CSV file to import. Setting everything up at the start took some time, especially with a large number of assets. It would also be nice if there were more integrations with other software we already use.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Very good platform for recording videos for many purposes like meetings, intros, video demos and much more. Very light weight, desktop platform, the extension also makes it fairly easy to record anywhere on your desktop or browser. Easy to use, quick way to send messages that would take a long time to type, like how I can track to see if the video was viewed. Loom is SUPER easy to use. It's by far the easiest way to take a video or screen capture (with narration) and share quickly with anyone. Our teachers use it to record lessons and share them with their students - all they need to do is email or post the link to their video. It's great that they are just sharing the link, not the actual video file, so there is nothing to store or complicating file sharing service. Loom offers their product free for schools which is a great and generous service. We use Loom primarily to train team members on new technologies or procedures. I love how easy it is to make an easily accessible video we both a video window and a nice big screen share. Loom is a slick product, easy to use and good interface. I find it very helpful to record notes for my team on various task that they can use for reference. Also their transcript feature is very good, I often use it to record calls on Zoom instead. Cons Not necessarily a negative, but there is a time limit on recording if you don't have a pricing plan, which is fairly cheap, starting at just $10 a month. Is sometimes slow switching from tab to tab quickly, but not a huge issue. Loom is dependent on the Internet as part of the process of recording and saving the video content. While very rare, this can cause trouble as the Internet isn't always reliable. No big complaints. The tool is fairly easy to use, but could be a bit more intuitive when you first start using. No strong cons. The UI of their interface could be a bit more organized in terms of folder structures and the workspace, but otherwise it's a breeze to use.
