About
Aseprite lets you create 2D animations for video games. From sprites, to pixel-art, retro style graphics, and whatever you like about the 8-bit and 16-bit era. It has a color mode, which tell you how many colors the image can handle. All images in the sprite are in one specific mode, you cannot mix RGB images with Indexed images in the same sprite. It contains a set of layers. You can see them in the Timeline. The most important concept here is that there are two kind of layers: the background layer for opaque sprites, and transparent layers. A sprite can contain only one background layer, but several transparent layers. It contains animation frames. Each frame has a duration, i.e. how many milliseconds the frame must be on screen when the animation is being played. Integrate Aseprite in your assets pipeline with the command-line interface (CLI). Store several animations in one texture atlas.

About
Ludo.ai is an AI game asset studio for indie developers and small studios, available in browser and through an API. Turn text prompts or uploaded images into sprites, animated sprite sheets, concept art, UI, icons, tilesets, backgrounds, textures, rigged 3D models, sound effects, music, voices and video clips. Develop game concepts and design documents in one place. Animate characters using text, drawn keyframes, reference videos or 641 motion presets across 34 categories. Explore 30+ art styles, including dedicated pixel art generation. Keep assets consistent with style references, pose generation and motion transfer. Generate, re-texture, optimize and auto-rig 3D models, then animate and export them for your engine. Exports support Unity, Godot, Unreal and GameMaker workflows. Pro and Studio include unlimited in-app generation, REST API and MCP server. Start with 30 free credits, no card required. Annual plans start at $15/month for Indie, $35/month for Pro and $300/month for Studio.
