About

If yes, then consider the HTML Editor your new best friend. Feel empowered with handy tag references, intuitive tools like code completion, website components that update instantly across all pages, live previews, and dozens of other extraordinary tools and features. We created bunches of free, 100% responsive templates. The new Template Installer imports these designs into the HTML Editor with just two clicks. Want to learn CSS Grid? Download a template and play with the code. This is how CoffeeCup makes web development fun! The new welcome screen will give your web development a fast take off. Need to make a quick static page? Then click New HTML Page. Do you want to begin with a snazzy responsive Template, start a complex web project, or simply fiddle with some PHP? The web fun all starts right from this new start screen.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Apache Netbeans is an IDE which can be used for both java, php and frontend development. It is free, open source and has a great community support. It can also be used cross platform.
  • Open Source & free Good code completion Code Analyzer & converter for latest Java versions Great debugging feature Plugin support Cross platform availability
  • (+) Easy to set up and use a very good interface. (+) Supports many programming languages like java, c++, PHP, and many others. (+) Code suggestions are very efficient. (+) Debugging is easy, step by step (+) Support for multiple platforms like ubuntu, mac, windows
  • NetBeans has proved to be a great IDE for compiling Java Applications. It can be used to code your own programs as well as trying out and debugging codes filled with errors.

Cons

  • Unlike PhpStorm it lacks advanced features like intelligent autocomplete and dedicated framework support
  • It's not very well optimized in terms of memory usage. Slow loading times especially for larger projects.
  • (-) It becomes slow when you have background operations. (-) Plugins can be improved for web apps. (-) Searching for words in code can be fast. (-) Launch time is slow.
  • The setup can be quite tedious especially for people who aren't too computer literate. They're going to have a hard time installing the IDE by itself because of the complicated instructions.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • In so far as I only need the Html/Php Editor and ability to use FTP ... It is an expensive useless product.
  • HTML Editor helps to design forms, website layouts and email campaign builder. It's a very simple and responsive web editor. It auto-detects any error and helps to edit more efficiently.
  • Live preview of website Code completion feature Built-in Validation Tool - W3C validation FTP upload feature Ready to use themes Available for Windows & mac Free version

Cons

  • #1. I am not able to install the software anywhere else except under "OneDrive" #2. When I do and load a new project to include my local website files... It does not allow me to edit an y of them,.. #3. I cannot connect to my remote Namecheap server Regardless of what I do ... Using the same credentials with FileZilla, and/ or WinScp, or other FTP programs I am more than able to do so... I have tried every conceivable configuration such as FTP, SFTP, Tls Explicit; you name it.. NOTHING works.. #4. I tried Direct FTP, but it only allows to the S-Drive Bottom-Line : CoffeeCup software is Totally Useless ! in so far as connecting and uploading files to a remote server.
  • Overall it's an outstanding HTML editor for the websites.
  • More geared towards advanced users. Free version has limited features.
