About

Turn Your Startup Idea Into Reality Without Coding! Gone are the days of searching for the perfect developer to bring your ideas to life. Automatically add interactions and database configuration without any code... or if you’ve already got your API, Adalo can integrate with that. Gone are the days of searching for the perfect developer to bring your ideas to life. Automatically add interactions and database configuration without any code... or if you’ve already got your API, Adalo can integrate with that. The best makers iterate the fastest. Now you can afford to. After hiring designers and developers, most entrepreneurs don’t have any money left to iterate on their products, so they cross their fingers and hope. With Adalo, you’re in complete control to add, adjust, or even build a new app. Our company is named after Ada Lovelace, widely considered to be the world’s first computer programmer.

About

Build your app, visually. Create, customize, and launch mobile apps all from your browser. Source code included. Bring your screens to life. Start quickly with bits, blocks and examples to help you move fast. Customize every detail with advanced properties, themes and custom code. Preview as you go on your device, or on the web. Connect it up by adding actions, interactions, navigation and live data. If you’re building real software, you’ll eventually need to work in code. When you start with other platforms, that means quitting and starting over – but with Draftbit, you just keep going. That’s because, when you build on Draftbit, you’re creating production-ready source code at every step. And that code is based on open-source frameworks and libraries, so you’re never trapped. The most powerful cross-platform development framework used by millions of developers. Your entire project is based on open-sourced libraries and languages.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • From a no code perspective, they are pretty true to what they state. The interface is good and their "magic text" feature is actually very good as it relates to incorporating complex logic into your app. They have a good marketplace of sample apps to get started and modify.

Cons

  • They sometimes lack features that aren't logical for a mobile app. For example, with their native dialog message sharing feature (sending text messages) they send a link to the file but not the actual image file. They also support certain IAP, but they don't have subscriptions completed yet which seems like a miss. Their support and communication with their community seems to be pretty slow or lacking, I've seen a lot of complaints from their community that they aren't listening on product changes requested.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Intuitive interface and you're able to actually understand the blocks and code being used on their platform. I'd consider this more low code over no code. They also have good documentation. A little bit of a learning curve though.

Cons

  • They used to have annual pricing only but have changed that recently, that made it difficult to get started on testing and deployment. They platform currently doesn't support native IAP / subscriptions.
