22 October 2025 Marcus Dean Adams (gerowen@pm.me) - Updated yt-dlp to 2025.10.22 The following note is from the upstream yt-dlp project and is particularly important to take note of: - A stopgap release with a TEMPORARY partial fix for YouTube support Some formats may still be unavailable, especially if cookies are passed to yt-dlp. The NEXT release, expected very soon, will require an external JS runtime (e.g. Deno) in order for YouTube downloads to work properly. This means that support for YouTube downloads may be flaky, or may not work at all. I'll follow the updates to yt-dlp and try to plan an easy to implement solution for users of my frontend. You can learn more at the github page for yt-dlp at: https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp
