XML Viewer Plus opens XML in Firefox, on desktop and Android, as a fast, searchable tree. It detects XML by content type, so URLs without .xml open too: REST APIs, RSS, Atom, SOAP, KML, GPX, sitemaps. Characters show correctly in any encoding: ISO-8859-1, Windows-1252, Shift_JIS, UTF-16. Large documents open in about a second. Search with text, regular expressions, XPath (namespaces included) or CSS selectors. Feeds get a reader view, and the source view is syntax-highlighted. Light and dark themes. No data collection. Version 2.0 is a Manifest V3 rewrite with no third-party libraries. MIT licence.

XML Viewer Plus is great. The only issue I have is I need a white background. I am older and the black background makes it hard to see. Can you add an option to pick the background color?
