    Universal Bypass
Don't waste your time with compliance. Universal Bypass circumvents annoying link shorteners. Universal Bypass bypasses templates that are used on thousands of domains and it would be impossible for me to keep a complete list of domains that are bypassed. You would have to get a new Universal Bypass version and accept its new permissions for each new bypass. Custom Bypasses would be pretty pointless if you could only create them for sites that are already bypassed. Also known in the options as "Give and take the destinations of unbypassable shorteners.", this feature exists to bypass a respectable amount of link shorteners using CAPTCHAs and other forms of backend validation to make sure you've actually waited before you can proceed to the target link, to share this target with other Universal Bypass users, who come across the same link in the future, so they can proceed to the target immediately.

    CanvasBlocker

    CanvasBlocker

A Firefox extension to protect from being fingerprinted

This add-on allows users to prevent websites from using some Javascript APIs to fingerprint them. Users can choose to block the APIs entirely on some or all websites (which may break some websites) or just block or fake its fingerprinting-friendly readout API. Canvas Blocker's default setting, and my favorite! All websites not on the white list or black list can use the protected APIs. But values obtained by the APIs are altered so that consistent fingerprinting is not possible. If a website is not listed on the white list or black list, the user will be asked if the website should be allowed to use the protected APIs each time they are called. Block the protected APIs only for websites on the black list. Ignore all lists and allow the protected APIs on all websites.

That’s why we offer multiple types of privacy protection, most of which aren’t offered in most popular browsers by default. DuckDuckGo Private Search comes built-in, so you can easily search the web without being tracked. Automatically stop most hidden trackers (3rd-party scripts) from loading, which prevents companies from collecting and using (e.g. sale, ads, etc.).

    uBlock

    uBlock

uBlock: a fast, lightweight, and lean blocker for Chrome, Firefox

uBlock: a fast, lightweight, and lean blocker for Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Available on the Chrome Web Store or for manual installation. Available to install from the homepage. Available for install from the homepage or from the App Store. Available on the Firefox Add-ons site, or for manual installation. Opera shares Chrome's underlying engine, so you can install uBlock simply by grabbing the latest release for Chrome. To benefit from uBlock's higher efficiency, it's advised that you don't use other blockers at the same time (such as AdBlock or Adblock Plus). uBlock will do as well or better than most popular ad blockers. It's important to note that blocking ads is not theft. Don't fall for this creepy idea. The ultimate logical consequence of blocking = theft is the criminalisation of the inalienable right to privacy.

    user.js

    user.js

Firefox privacy, security and anti-tracking: a comprehensive user.js

A user.js is a configuration file that can control Firefox settings - for a more technical breakdown and explanation, you can read more in the wiki. The arkenfox user.js is a template that aims to provide as much privacy and enhanced security as possible and to reduce tracking and fingerprinting as much as possible - while minimizing any loss of functionality and breakage (but it will happen). Everyone, experts included, should at least read the wiki, as it contains important information regarding a few user.js settings. Note that we do not recommend connecting over Tor on Firefox. Use the Tor Browser if your threat model calls for it, or for accessing hidden services. Also be aware that the arkenfox user.js is made specifically for desktop Firefox. Using it as-is in other Gecko-based browsers can be counterproductive, especially in the Tor Browser.

    Stylus for Chrome

    Stylus for Chrome

    Stylus - Userstyles Manager

Stylus is a fork of Stylish for Chrome, also compatible with Firefox as a WebExtension. "Stylus" is a fork of the popular Stylish extension which can be used to restyle the web. Not "ish", but "us", as in "us" the actual users. Stylus is a fork of Stylish that is based on the source code of version 1.5.2, which was the most up-to-date version before the original developer stopped working on the project. The objective in creating Stylus was to remove any and all analytics, and return to a more user-friendly UI. We recognize that the ability to transfer your database from Stylish is important, so this is the one and only feature we've implemented from the new version. Two different optional code validators with user-configurable rules: CSSLint and Stylelint. Both validators use Web Worker API to run in a separate background thread inside the editor tab without blocking your interaction with the code.

    Retire.js

    Retire.js

Scanner detecting the use of JavaScript libraries

There is a plethora of JavaScript libraries for use on the web and in node.js apps out there. This greatly simplifies, but we need to stay updated on security fixes. "Using Components with Known Vulnerabilities" is now a part of the OWASP Top 10 and insecure libraries can pose a huge risk for your web app. The goal of Retire.js is to help you detect the use of versions with known vulnerabilities. Scan a web app or node app for use of vulnerable JavaScript libraries and/or node modules. grunt-retire scans your grunt-enabled app for use of vulnerable JavaScript libraries and/or node modules. Scans visited sites for references to insecure libraries and puts warnings in the developer console. An icon on the address bar displays will also indicate if vulnerable libraries were loaded. Retire.js has been adapted as a plugin for the penetration testing tools Burp and OWASP ZAP.

    JavaScript Cookie

A simple, lightweight JavaScript API for handling browser cookies

A simple, lightweight JavaScript API for handling cookies which works in all browsers and accepts any character. It is heavily tested, has no dependency, supports ES modules and supports AMD/CommonJS. It is RFC 6265 compliant, has an useful Wiki, and enables custom encoding/decoding. More than 800 bytes gzipped! This project is RFC 6265 compliant. All special characters that are not allowed in the cookie-name or cookie-value are encoded with each one's UTF-8 Hex equivalent using percent-encoding. The only character in cookie-name or cookie-value that is allowed and still encoded is the percent % character, it is escaped in order to interpret percent input as literal. Please note that the default encoding/decoding strategy is meant to be interoperable only between cookies that are read/written by js-cookie. To override the default encoding/decoding strategy you need to use a converter.
