The plug-in was primarily developed for the best possible playback of lossless 
audio files (e.g. FLAC) from CD quality up to 8xDAT (44.1 kHz to 384 kHz).

  * upsampling to a non-fracional multiple of base-frequency
  * SSRC up-/down resampler
  * SRD super high quality upsampler
  * individual channel mapping

If there is no other external option for analog volume control, a digital 
volume control can now be activated and controlled via the volume control 
in Winamp.
However, depending on the set volume, the bit depth of the audio file (or 
extrapolated output stream), and the actual resolution of the D/A converter, 
digital scaling leads to a deterioration in the sound (especially at low 
listening volume).
Analog volume control via a preamplifier, integrated amplifier or headphone 
amplifier is always preferable.
