Valpero is a website and API monitoring service that checks endpoints every
30 seconds from 10 global regions and alerts you via Email, Telegram, Slack,
Discord, SMS or Webhooks the moment a check fails. Quorum-based detection
across regions eliminates false positives from local network blips.
This SourceForge project hosts the open-source components of Valpero:
- valpero-cli — Go command-line interface for managing monitors and querying
status from a terminal. Single binary, ~5 MB, macOS/Linux/Windows.
- valpero-agent — Linux server-monitoring agent (CPU, RAM, disk, Docker).
- valpero-tray (Windows) — .NET 8 WPF system tray application.
- valpero-menubar (macOS) — Python rumps menu bar application.
The Valpero hosted service offers a free plan (1 monitor, 2 regions, SSL
monitoring, public status page) with no credit card required. Paid plans
start at €9/month. EU data hosting (Frankfurt), GDPR compliant.
