SubFlow v1.2.0 is free MIT-licensed Windows subtitle translation software by ALMARFELD. Use local Ollama or explicitly selected cloud APIs, review output, and export new MKV/subtitle copies. Batch queue, glossary, cache, editor and optional Windows PGS OCR are supported. Originals are not modified. AI/OCR results need human review; output checks do not certify every word or media packet. FFmpeg/FFprobe are required separately; local translation also needs Ollama and a model. Optional MKVToolNix improves MKV workflows. Dependency/model downloads require confirmation. Cloud engines send subtitle text after consent and may charge; video/audio are not uploaded. No telemetry; optional GitHub update check is off by default. Windows 10/11 x64 installer and portable ZIP; no separate .NET or WebView2. No videos, models or user profiles included. Binaries are not Authenticode signed.

Features

  • Translate subtitle tracks with local Ollama or selected cloud APIs
  • Read embedded and sidecar text subtitles; optional Windows PGS OCR
  • Export new MKV copies without video/audio re-encoding
  • Review translations in an editor with glossary and cache
  • Pause, resume and retry a persistent batch queue
  • Review history and export CSV; confirm optional setup downloads
