Changes in this release:
- new libsimavr version (v1,4) bundled, it contains many bugfixes and improvements, in particular timers work much better
- several new electronic parts added, including LCDs and rotary encoder
- several bugfixes
Quick installation instructions
Simutron requires Qt5 redistributable shared libraries to run. Also it uses cutecom and gtkwave external applications. So, depending on your particular OS do:
- Ubuntu: sudo apt-get install qt5-default cutecom gtkwave libelf
- Fedora 25 (as root): dnf install qt5-qtbase cutecom gtkwave elfutils-libelf
- ALTLinux (as root): apt-get install libqt5-core libqt5-gui libqt5-xml libqt5-widgets cutecom gtkwave libelf
- For other distros please refer to your OS documentation.
Then, depending on your Linux platform, unpack simutron-1.0.1-Lin64.tar.gz or simutron-1.0.1-Lin32.tar.gz into folder of your choice, go to bin/ directory and run start-simutron .
Note: Simavr binaries, libraries and include files are bundled with this release. The start-simutron script sets LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable to point to shipped lib/libsimavr.so . It is recommended to remove other libsimavr.so instances from the path, if any.
Built in Fedora 25 with Qt5.7.1 and should run in most linux distributions. Otherwise please build from sources.
